is this because more teams are better supportedCan you back this up? They will never change. Today my pass will be given to a mate. I am done with it all. Enjoy your match day experience today
Look at the percentage of away fans who stand up at the KC. Compare the much smaller percentage of ours who stand up. They don't seem to have as many people with problems standing up or unable to see.
Yes. I remember going home after the Stoke quarter final and saying to my dad when he asked what the game was like that it was disappointing to lose after being 2 goals up but I had enjoyed a wonderful match day experience.
The match experience was a pisstake and not aimed at you. I would love to stand on the south stand but then I would be ejected. I go in the south stand to be with my mates. When the Allams leave I will consider going where the standers go. Very ****ty feeling not wanting to go but after making the decision I feel refreshed. It's great getting rid of the anger these bastards have created.
No probs, I didn't think it was aimed at me. I was using that as an example of me having the same contempt for phrases like that as you obviously do. Football as we knew it is ****ed and won't recover. They don't want supporters in this country, they want spectators consuming a product. Foreign fanscp used to be envious of the atmosphere in English grounds. Now theirs is vibrant whilst ours is sterile.
The whole point of the meeting is that the Allams will be there. If they aren't, then it goes without saying that people should walk away there and then.
I'm not aware of any other leaders. We have these two new protest groups but who are they? I know a couple of people involved with the HCAFC one but no idea who leads it if anyone. The other group is completely anonymous as far as I'm aware. Clearly they're doing a good job with their protests which is their role, but they aren't exactly recognised fan groups are they?
Why are we the least surprised ? - this * ('we'd all run through a brick wall for him'.) is what the family expect of us & the majority of us fail to subvert to them / fall for their ... Old interview but same message / propaganda - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/29440451 - 'During the course of my conversations one employee tells me * 'we'd all run through a brick wall for him'. It is a message that crops up time and again. But none of it tallies with the stereotype which has come to define him.
^^^^^ Extremely true. It will never come back now it is an audience sport in this country. Like the German papers said " English football has been washed down with disinfectant. You can keep it in afraid .
Aren't they the ones who organised the protest though ? Or was it spontaneous and people all had the same idea about stress balls The trust haven't organised any protests recently have they ?
It is daft to hold a meeting to stop protests and not invite anyone from the group that's arranging those protests. And I'm referring only to Hull City Action For Change, the Hull City Protesters group blew it when they pulled that daft smoke bomb stunt in the pub.
Just to point out I'm not bothered and I sssume as a trust you can't be seen to do protests. Least I think olm said that. Supporters Direct were delighted to attend the first meeting of the Hull City Action For Change group before the club's home game against Birmingham City on 30th September. SD's Richard Irving addressed an audience of over 150 about the Fans Not Numbers project that has been run in conjunction with SKINS. He set out how relevant the campaign was to the current situation at Hull City by highlighting the calls for a new independent governance body within the FA before covering the issues of stewardship and proper sanctions for owners should they be in breach of the proposed terms of the new body's remit. With further speeches from Chris Smith, the leader of the campaign and Geoff Bielby, the Chair of the Hull City Supporters' Trust and music from local musician Vinny Whitehead this well-attended event was a fitting start to the Action For Change project.
I didn't know Chris Smith was the leader if that's what you meant. Maybe he should be invited, but then the club probably don't know he's their leader either, and they've also got a bit of previous with Chris on an individual level which might mean they wouldn't want to invite him anyway.
As I said I'm not bothered but it was in the trust boozer. With the trust chairman giving a speech with the leader of it an ex trust committee man, and you weren't there? The trust chair didn't discuss it with you? Bollocks. And I know who organized the stress balls but I don't know if he's part of the campaign or did it off his own back.
Fair point EDIT as Chazz says there was definitely someone in charge organising the launch and they’re easy to contact online anyway
No I wasn't there. Yes Geoff lets us know what's going on with Action For Change but I've never worried about who their leader is and it's not public knowledge. Like you I know which individual organised the balls but not sure if he's part of either group. The way the Hull City Protest Group are talking it sounds like he might be with them.
