Coming in on trial apparently, 21 year old Spanish central midfielder, currently at Real Madrid(bought from Espanyol in 2009): http://www.realmadrid.com/cs/Satellite/en/1193042753223/1330040123951/jugador/Jugador/Marc.htm
come on now... if scunny had a good look at him and he wasnt good enough for them..... lets not go down this road again eh.
He's had a trial at a couple of clubs, the problem for them has been that Real Madrid want a fee of £160k for his services.
Somebody will have to try and explain this to me. We are a Championship side up sh!t creek and looking for quality players capable of raking us into the top-half, so what do we do, we give a trial to a midfielder that a League 1 team rejected!!?? We need some STRIKERS for Gawds sake! The mind boggles!
Proven striker or another kid trying to make a name for himself? We need proven, mid to late 20's. Loan or buying?
I've no idea who it is yet(I think it's a loan). Also, I've just checked and it's not a loan fee Real Madrid are after, it's compensation, as he's just been released and is under 24.
I would of thought we would return Gulasci, and if that Egyptian guy is right then he could be a decent signing for us.
Apparently he's very keen to play in England and accepted a trial at any club he could, Oldham offered a trial and tried to sign him, but couldn't afford the compensation fee. Scunny saw him playing for Oldham in pre-season and offered him a trial with them, but according to someone on CI, we stepped in and offered him a trial and he never actually went to Scunny, he came to us instead.
He might be good then, lets face it, he can't be any worse than Harper. CI suggesting that he might leave as well.
