Very tough call that one! Gone for GNR but was a close call between AC/DC and Led Zep, and then some of my favourite songs are from The Who and Aerosmith too.... Love November rain though! Will be interested to see; if enough people vote, who comes out on top..
Hard to choose between GnR, Aerosmith and The Who. I chose GnR in the end, simply because Appetite for Destruction is my favourite album.
I swear that the musical preferences extolled on this forum get worse every ****ing day Led Zeppelin win this by umpteen country miles. For Christ's sake, listen to something other than power-chord led, cock rock the lot of ye.
I take it we're to dismiss anything Aerosmith have released since 1990? As for Def Leppard. Away and have a word with yourself son.
So are AC/DC, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Guns 'N' Roses and Kiss. Down to interpretation but I've always lumped "hard rock" and "heavy metal" together. I'd call The Who "rock" and their early stuff "mod". I do appreciate that there is a vast difference between Deep Purple and Napalm Death though.
This. Nice to see that Napalm Death are the first band on this article to trigger a shopping link, though!
