You mean - the club wants to engage with fans to talk about protest but no protestors were invited? I'm shocked and stunned, truly I am ...... who'd have thunk it eh?
Well the Queen has been, and the very next day, old man Twat Allam has had a go at the fans on ITV. No contact made. Absolutely ****ing predictable. I hope the protests ramp up, because they are certainly more entertaining than the football. ****ing sneaky weasel twats. More booze now please.
Totally reinforces what most on here felt after Ehabs 'conciliatory' statement last week, that the sole intention was to stop us ruining his big day with the queen. Absolute ****s. If he gets knighted, that's me done. I'm emigrating
They're so transparent it's not true - ****ty-ended olive branch before the visit, steel toe-cap into the fans straight after, it's ****ing loathsome.
"Suggested concessions were universally accepted and will be implemented starting next season." Probably.
There is a meeting next week. To be fair to the club, they've invited the same group of fans they've invited to all supporters committee meetings. A group which was established before the new protest groups existed. That panel may not be perfect, but I don't think they're deliberately excluding anyone. I'm not confident there'll be much listening from the Allams side at this meeting, but we shouldn't write it off already. The HCST Chairman is going to the meeting with the aim of reaching an agreement with the club involving the return of concessions, a return to the use of our proper name and a commitment to ongoing dialogue between the owners and fans. Maybe they won't listen, but we shouldn't assume so before the meeting even happens.
Many thanks. I wonder if it's the same lady that I stood in front of at Doncaster, in our last league match there. She was on the back row and asked if I'd sit down, I offered to swap seats but she declined telling me that was the one she'd paid for! After I stopped shaking my head I moved away.
