Finally, it looks Saturday night football comes to the Prem from 2019.

Works for me, daytime football takes up too much family time at weekends.

Personally I'd like to see football played on Fridays, Saturdays, and even early evening Sundays, like 630/7pm

I like my 4pm Sunday slot, nice way to end the weekend. I get everything done early and crack a few beers to watch the match. Don't fancy Saturday night at all, I don't bother with Friday night at all but quite like Monday at 8pm as it's Monday and something to look forward to after work.

Not sure about Saturday night but am off to the match tomorrow and the half five kick off is a great slot.

Time for beers and food before and also plenty time for the same after.

A Saturday night game and you're more or less going home after it, like a mid week game.

Like most things the TV companies do, it's not so bad for the home side or if it's a local fixture for the away fans but you know it will be Burnley v Southampton which firstly no one wants to see and secondly is **** for the people who actually go to matches.

That would be Saturday night comedy. Watching Long, Tadic and Redmond try to score is ****ing hilarious.

    This.

People can say it suits but it's **** for the actual matchgoing fans, again.

Might miss trains after some matches, no time for post match drinks etc.

Will also add that I expect we'll see more trouble at games as some people will still start drinking at 9/10 o'clock...

Friday night football is **** end of imo.
Got **** all to do with fans who attend games and everything to do with plastic armchair Lord Lucan twats who **** off to a cave when the team they support that season loses <whistle>

I'm all for Saturday night football..there has to be more to Saturday night than a 'night out' or watching Strictly with your bird in a false bubble of romance.

Plus some people can take their kids without worrying about School commitments.

Plus it's just another option..you take it or learn it.

Not everyone can sit at home with a zoot watching West Brom v Swansea. I mean, you can and I can but there’s probably some people who can’t. Actually quite looking forward to it now.

Football at the highest level is dead for the average working class supporter. Hopefully it goes pop soon but not holding my breath.

I find myself becoming more more unattached to the game in general by the year.

Hopefully Saints go down a couple of divisions in the next 5 years or so and I can enjoy proper footy again.

Me and the boy started going to our local non-League club this season. It’s miles from Manc and a world away from OT. We first went because we had a rare spare few hours on a Saturday and had always “joked” about going to a game. We are both now addicted and ****ing love it. Tomorrow will be the first home game in weeks that we won’t be able to go to as he has a tennis tournament and we are genuinely gutted. It’s just more fun than going to sterile PL football.

We are fortunate in West London to have 4 clubs to watch, so I take my daughter to see the Bees with her school pals a few times a season.

Friendly fans, not that bothered about the result, even if it is a last minute equaliser by opposition.

Would be happy for her to follow the Bees or any local side. You can’t beat supporting your local team with school pals

Can you bring her to some of our away games? We need to bump the numbers up.

<laugh> your home games need numbers up too.

I get offered seasons in Lower loft regularly. Will take her at some stage, but probably Fulham first

Fulham is the most middle class football club I’ve ever been to. It’s astonishing how different the fans behave to the chavvy Neanderthals down the road at Stamford Bridge.

I once watched Ronaldo score a late winner in a game Fulham should have won and the general reaction from the Fulham fans was “oh bother”.
