Good to hear Eire, I'm sure scum and chelski appreciate your choice of financial support via sky subs also.
Best was norn. Keane was an animal who had no business on a football pitch and Jennings wasn't even the fifth best keeper playing in England. Banks, Clemence, Shilton, Corrigan, Harvey, Sprake to name a few were all better. That list is not exhaustive. P.S If I bait hooks for paddies and Micks I don't expect you to be eating them all.
They were just a game early mate. The Sunday meeting turned into a "results must improve" vote of confidence. They wont. and TC will carry the can for Orta.
Stop taking those magic mushrooms Best normal he was a bloody geniusRor Keane I wish we had him now what an enforcer and captain and Pat Jemnings made more appearances for his 2 clubs and N IRELAND to show how brilliant he was Sprake and Harvey don't make me laugh and Joe Corrigan was an even worse GK than those two!
Norn.......Best was a paddy not a mick. Keane is a thug. Put Stepney and Wilson in there instead of Harvey and Sprake if you want the point remains the same.
Ah, the old keep saying the same thing and eventually you will be right technique. I’ve been waiting for three years now and Derby are still not 2 divisions above us
So would I. But my opinion is that we will lose by at least two goals. TC will be gone, Orta will survive and we will get another watermelon. Not until Rad drops his DOF and invests significantly more than he is raking from all income streams in an English manager and gives him funds to spend freely will things improve
Would prefer their squad and set up to ours, and over the last five years they have usually managed to have a better push at promotion than us. I expect that to be the case again this year.
Weve no control over these things but at least the club get some money from sky. If I stream games, theyd get nothing
As I mentioned in a previous post the next 2 transfer windows should be enough to see significant improvement in both our squad and first team. With regards to investing more than he takes out then obviously all aspects of the club need to be taken into consideration and not just transfer fees. I'm not sure though that judging nett spend is the best way to judge an owner. All players start off as academy players or in some form of junior football and are therefore virtually free to be signed on a professional contract. From there a players worth will usually follow an upwards trajectory until at some point it falls back to worthless at the end of his/her career. We signed Wood for £3m and subsequently sold him for £18m so should we be looking to replace him by spending the £18m on a player perceived to be the finished article. In my opinion, the only time we should be spending massive amounts on a player is if he is at the start of his value projection. It's exactly what has been happening to us with other clubs poaching our best talent. We need to start doing that to others and I believe that is the strategy we are currently following. As a young prospect the best player last season was Tammy Abraham...he was head and shoulders above anything else in our League. Would we have been successful with a £20m bid back in June ? Probably not, but that's the type of player I would like to see us splashing the cash on and not overvalued and overpaid players who bleed us dry with their contracts and ultimately couldn't care less about the club.
Tammy Abraham has been with Chelsea since he was 6. Him and Loftus Cheek are their future stars. Chelsea have over 500 players under the age of 12 in their academy. The only way Leeds would be able to sign a player from the Chelsea graduation list is when they are over the hill or crocked - like Forrsell, Dubbery or Jody Morris
Thanks for the info TC. You seem to always have the relevant stats about Chelsea at your fingertips which I suppose must be nice for you. We however, hate the f***ers so I only noted that Lukaku and De Bruyne are no longer in their starting eleven...or have they been moved on !
Read it again and still understand it - what would you like help with? Jammy says that Tammy Abraham is the type of player you should be going for (in his own words) - a player that Chelsea have nurtured for 12 years and signed a 5 year contract back in June worth £50K per week - Orta's scouting network only reaches out to teams like York City and the Macedonian 3rd tier
"Type of player" is referred to, not necessarily that specific player or any player from Chelsea for that matter. Hope that helps, pllease try to keep up, there's a good lad
Gotcha - the type of player thats just signed a 5 year deal worth £50K per week - I think Jammy needs to go for one of your walkabouts if that's the type of player he expects you to be signing
