Great. I don’t think anybody will welch on any of the bets that haven’t already been cancelled. So it will remain that the only person who’s welched on a bet will be you
Correct - my original bet with Hiag with its original terms was in the OP before it was deleted - so therefore it stands as per Hiag’s logic, What about your bet with Hiag - it was in the OP and was deleted when it was cancelled by Hiag, only to be reinstated by Spurlock when Hiag realised he had ****ed up. Surely a stewards enquiry to be had about this !
HIAG also had a bet with Fosse that he cancelled. He also had a bet with me that he welched on. So here’s he deal. HIAG says he wants to ‘honour his side of the bargain’ so if he wants me to honour my side of the bargain, then he has to honour ALL bets that he’d agreed to. Can’t say fairer than that
Well, you've certainly offered him an olive branch, the only question remaining is will he honour those bets or Welch out like on ALL previous occasions.
If we’re all going to play by the rules. Then the rule is simple, ALL bets that were agreed to need to be honoured.
These boys need to remember this, Bruv. Pixie is trying to wriggle out to our wager and he is using this lie as a pretext. He must not be permitted to get away with it. I have faith in Pixie that, when it actually comes to it, he won't Welch - and I am sure that brb is keeping his eye on matters very closely on that score. As I say, let's get to the end of the season and see where we are.
Here’s the deal. You’ve said that you will ‘honour my side of the bet’ so in order for me to trust that you will do that, you need to honour ALL bets that you’ve agreed to. No picking and choosing. Can’t say fairer than that
The other two bets were snide bets and were right cancelled. As I told you before, I operated at cross purposes as to what was involves, so that was no accord. In contract law, that is known as the doctrine of frustration. When it applies, there can be no contract, because the contracting parties cannot be said to have agreed to anything. With our bet, that clearly is not the case, since we do have an accord. I never cancelled our bet. I "cancelled" something that, in fact, never existed - namely, a mistaken belief that you had changed the terms of our bet. That was principally your own fault for ****ing about with G4E when he was wumming. I have apologised for my misunderstanding, and I have reaffirmed our bet. Brother Spurly has confirmed that our bet was never deleted from the OP. There is no where for you to run on this, Pix. As I say, I fully expect you to honour your side of the bargain, when it comes to it. If you don't, I expect that Spurly will have to make a ruling as to whether or not you have Welched, and brb will have to decide if that carries any consequences. I am not trying to pre-empt anything, since I know you will do the right thing, mate,
Whether you made a mistake in agreeing to your bets with G4E and Fosse is of no consequence. That’s your problem. You should have thought about it before you agreed to it. This is very simple. You either honour ALL your bets or none of them. You can’t pick and choose. If you do then you renage on all of them.
Nice try. The snide "bets" were rightly cancelled, because there was no agreement. Our bet was crystal clear, and it stands. Let's draw a line under this, now, and see where we are at the end of the season. If you Welch - which I know you won't do - Spurly will have to make a ruling, and appropriate measures will have to be enforced.
Nobody is interested in your excuses. You agreed to the bets. You don’t get given a ‘get out clause’ for being a stupid ****. You agreed to a bet with Fosse, G4E and me as well as the original bet we had with Luv. You either honour all bets or none of them. This is very simple and straight forward.
