Apparently he used to provide fruit and veg to the fat Aussie chef and was down on his luck so the Aussie looked after him and got him on TV.
Missed the question. Yes I do, although as a band they got **** quick the first album has a very emotional feel to it, an honesty you only get with first albums. Sullivan Street is my fav from the album
Agreed. The first album was good and Mr Jones is one of my all time faves but they did produce some **** after that. Long December is a good song and there are a few good tracks on Hard Candy. Anyway, the reason I mentioned it was that a friend asked whether I’d ever listened to their acoustic stuff on Across A Wire. I hadn’t but now have. The slower Mr Jones version on it (including a couple of amended lyrics to represent Adam’s disillusionment with fame) is ****ing epic IMHO. Give it a go. Might need a few listens. The last 90 seconds are brilliant. Can’t believe it passed me by for 20 years as I was a fan of the first album before most in the U.K. had heard of them (because of Mr Jones). Nice back story to the song as well.
FFS Stanley. It's an app and free and you can add all the music you want to. Download on your phone now.
I have it on my phone. I occasionally look at it and think that I should work out how to use it. Then I buy a CD as I like collecting them.
Get premium. Quality is far better, no adds and more features I love Spotify. Never have to buy music again and you always have access to all your music.
Just look at the evidence, you said I should listen to an album, I added it to my account in seconds. **** CD's.
I turn premium on and off but yeah it's superb. My only problem is I keep filling it up and have to cull now and then, but I have so much music on there.
Spotify is brilliant, but I still buy music on vinyl and play it through my technics 1210, Pioneer A676 amp and Bowers & Wilkins DM110’s. Compared to a digital platform, the kit takes up loads of room, but the sound is so much richer.
Old school. My old mam’s Beatles vinyls will be cherished forever and I’ll happily pass on my original Pearl Jam vinyls to young Stan. The double CD cost me a fiver and it’s there forever.
Keep the old but also get into the new it's a superb app, you'll find all sorts you've forgotten about.
... just hope some of you lads were considerate enough to slap some vaseline on ... poor old Quentin's arse has been taking one hell of a pounding ...
I’ve got an Alexa thing. I tell her to play music to me while she’s timing my boiled egg. If she could suck cock and buy beer I could get rid of Mrs Stan.
