Oh yes, there are a lot of snowflakes around nowadays. For me personally it takes a lot to get me offended. That's not to say a woman who complains about a guy groping them is being a snowflake though and sometimes offense is warranted, but sometimes not.

Saints games are preceded with the warning "this game may contain goals". Yeah right

    https://uk.yahoo.com/news/execution-halted-failure-vein-lethal-injection-114500403.html

A seriously ill man avoids execution after they fail to find a vein to use after spending 80 mins trying to insert a line. Delayed for now. This is not a good man...he has been waiting on death row for years as is normal in the States....but this is a truly dreadful state of affairs. How does two wrongs make a right. This kind of thing tells us as much about Americans as their crazy gun laws. Relatives of the victim apparently get to watch executions in America....what kind of person would choose to do that? It makes you scarcely better than the criminal.

Indeed. What does it say of you as a person if you even want to witness such a thing.

I read that two of his sons enjoy safari hunting in Africa, coincidence or using his power of office for his (or his families) advantage once again.

How does something like that even happen in this day and age?

This is almost worthy of a public announcement... I've actually bought a new smartphone. I was never going to spend the earth on one so I ended up with an LG (Lucky Goldstar for those who have always wondered) Stylus 3.
Enormous 5.7 inch screen, 8 core CPU, and 3gb Ram. But the kicker was... it has a removable battery. This old Galaxy S2 is on its 3rd.

Looking at buying my parents a new tv in the black friday sales, LG looking like the frontrunner in the price range. Just found out they've been renting their 26 inch tv for at least 7 years.

Just been out to try and find a bar of something recognisable as chocolate....not easy these days. I think I should tell Sainsburys that their Dairy Milk has foreign bodies in it...things like peanut butter :emoticon-0119-puke: and Oriol biscuits (whatever they are).

    I shall quote Red Dwarf.

Lister: The corporation have bought the whole of Earth.
    Rimmer: What all of it?
Lister: Yes, even the stuff no one wants....like cockroaches and American chocolate.

Many a truth is spoken in jest. :(
