I don't understand why man gets ****ree about another town. You ****s don't own any of it anyway. If I wanted to go and enjoy my day in Liverpool or Manchester or walk down Tottenham High Road eating a kebab, I will. And I couldn't care less what state of affairs the Town Hall is in or that they are closing the Sports Centre down..and I certainly don't feel better about myself at night because the transport network in my Town is better than in yours.
I don't think anyone could seriously say that any UK City is a lovely place. Plenty of lovely places in the countryside mind.
Lived in Manchester for a while, well, in the Salford quays to be precise, not quite Manchester. It as certainly a lot nicer than Croydon is, but I don't think it's representative of Manchester as a whole, the people there actually owned the BMW's and Merc's they were driving. The down-side was everytime I opened the window I saw that ****-box across the canal.
