Was wondering what do do next tbh. I don’t own a TV, so me and the little one watch cartoons on Netflix on the laptop, so need something with a decent sized screen.
There are good size tablets out there if you are just web browsing and watching Netflix you really don't need the power of a laptop (or the cost). I'm the opposite to you Tv's everywhere tablets and phones and consoles, I still don't need a laptop.
I’ll look into it. I do a bit of accounting for my business, watch Netflix and footie and that’s about it really. My missus has got an iPad but that doesn’t run flash, which most of the footie streaming sites seem to use. Got any recommendations?
You can download the GSE app onto your iPad. I use two hosted streams on my iPad. Pay £35-£40 pa for them, which is about £3 per month. The hosted services are far more stable than anything you’ll find on Kodi.
If I did any accounting I'd get a laptop, simply for the keyboard. If it really isn't a lot then just go Apple or Samsung, I'd go Samsung but others will argue that point. Go to a shop though and have a chat with someone, tell them what you do, what programmes you use what TV sites you use (Netflix, Sky, BT) there are sometimes software issues whare the tablets don't support certain things and there's no way to fix it, with a laptop you can always download a fix.
I would be if I could afford them. Unfortunately I'm too poor. I will set up my GoFundMe page for you all to donate later.
I won some expensive beats headphones in raffle once. Sounded exact same as my $15 pair. Felt less comfortable. Died after 2 months. Expensive headphones are a rip off.
I love gadgets. Got my own games room with a 65inch 3D top of the range TV, Xbox 1, PS4, and some older retro consoles. Got loads of gadgets all over the house and want more. I'm looking forward to robots finally taking over from humans.
Beats are more fashion headphones than top end. Cheaply made with a huge mark up. Most people only wear them because all their mates have them.
Beats are **** but fashionable. They're nowhere near as good as other brands in the same price bracket, miles off as it goes. I got my lad a pair in Tenerife (obviously snide ones) for £20 and they sound as good as the real ones my older lads got - and they cost me about £150 I have some Bluetooth in-ear beats, got them on black Friday last year. They're decent enough but not amazing. I just like having headphones that stay in your ear and don't have any wires. For that purpose they're very good.
Yeah I’m thinking laptop. I create invoices, keep accounts and do a bit of marketing stuff (designing promotional material etc) I need the ability to access and edit pictures. Not sure I could do all of that on an iPad.
