Reminded me of Batty more today. Please get this lad on a long contract, he'll be watched heavily now and his agent will be seeing lots of dosh, and we all know Bates likes Dosh so that he can continue with his ****ty fecking shops, hotel and radio station.
No. You can have Paynter though, he might help your attack . Maybe you should just try paying opposition defenders to score for you .
I've not even seen Clayton to be honest, it's just you lot seem to be obsessing about him and I want us to have at least one decent player when the transfer window closes.
Thought you saw him at Elland Road last Tuesday? The boy done good, as Eddie Gray might put it. Well out of Nigel Pearson's reach since his CV doesn't solely consist of 'Manchester United Reserve Squad'. Is OLM still cumming over the prospects of Joe Dudgeon and James Chester, by the way? Or has his ejaculatory flow ebbed somewhat?
I already said I never made it to Elland Road. And you'll have to ask OLM about his ejaculatory history.
Sorry, Viking man, I saw a post where you said you'd probably be going and that was it. I'll inquire during our weekly flirtatious PM sesh.
Yeah, I tried to get a ticket at the last minute but had no way of getting there, so never bothered. I won't ask...
It's mainly DMD to be honest, he's a proper horny little so-and-so when he puts his mind to it. Like a bitch on heat. Me and OLM just kind of accept it, tag along with his drunken, lascivious rantings and proposals. It's the polite thing to do, you know?
Howson was also impressive today, after taking a lot of stick for his performances in a deeper role. In the past Howson has had to do other people's work in there, but Clayton covers so much ground that he almost does Howson's work too. Howson also had a lot of trust in Clayton and was happy to play the ball into him with players around him. We could have found an excellent partnership and I'd like to see them stay together, with Nunez or McCormack in the old Howson role if we go to 4-5-1.
Howson was a bit anonymous today. He didn't really stand out but I wouldn't say he played badly - more of a I didn't really notice him but I'd have noticed if he hadn't been there sort of thing. Maybe a few more games playing alongside Clayton and we'll see what happens - it could be the start of a deadly partnership.
Howson anonymous? What game were you watching Marko? He broke up quite a few attacks, cut out passes and moved the ball nicely. Also got forward when the opportunity arose, and his shot off the bar set up the equaliser. **** me, if that's anonymous I can't wait to see him on fire!! The key to the Howson/Clayton partnership is that both work hard, make tackles, can distribute and are a lot quicker than Kilkenny/Brown. I believe Brown will still contribute, but he's clearly not match fit yet. Remember, Pompey benched Brown for six months to avoid a contract clause being activated, so he lacks game time. Lets see how Brown does when he is fit. I think when the rain comes and pitches are heavier he may well come into his own.
like I said, I didn't really notice him do anything. But that can be good, he didn't do anything bad really either. Come to think of it I think the only time I can remember noticing him was when he had that rebounded shot, and once when he got caught in posession. He wasn't incredible, but like I said, I'd have noticed had he not been there - I'm sure we'd have struggled in the middle had he not been there.
If this Lansbury bid comes off (highly doubtful but you never know...) then we'd have the makings of an excellent central midfield.
