So the supporters meeting was 3 weeks ago? Is that what Happy tiger meant when he said I had missed everything in the Alternative thread? The situation becomes more and more weird.
If only we knew about it beforehand we could have asked the fans representatives to ask something on our behalf.
I thought this meeting next week was the quarterly-ish Supporters Group meeting. Seems not. It's an additional meeting - at relatively short notice.
Erm, we posted this on our web site and twitter/facebook pages. If you note one of the requests was for the agenda to sent out earlier to give us a chance to ask members. "The next quarterly Supporters liaison meeting with the Club is on tomorrow evening (Thursday 26th Oct). On the Agenda is: 1. Matters arising from the previous meeting 2. Matchday experience this season 3. Hall of Fame 4. Cashless stadium feedback 5. Rewards launch If you are a current HCOSC member and have any comments, questions or thoughts you would like aired at the meeting please contact ..."
I think it was discussed at the time, but the minutes took that long to be released it's understandable people may have forgotten.
Don't do twitter or facebook for anyone or anything, and no offense meant but I don't go to the Hull City supporters club site, today was the first time in a long time. I know you answered earlier but an initial glance at it and seeing the fixture list would not encourage me to go back any time soon.
Why would you invite 'random supporters' with no history of protest to discuss how to prevent protesting in the future? The line-up of attendees is nothing less than pathetic; it's just more waffle and **** from the club hierarchy.
Unless you know all of the attendees personally you can't say it's pathetic. Just because they don't sit on committees of clubs, trusts or groups doesn't mean they don't have ideals, ideas and valid opinions. If you can keep a random selection of fans/customers happy then you are more likely to please the majority of fans/customers than if you only communicate with a certain section of the fans. By all means invite reps of groups too but you also have to include a selection of the other fans who aren't involved in these groups since they are probably the majority.
And a fan standing in the Souh Stand. And insulting senior citizen fans by saying they would have difficulty dealing with technology. She doesn't speak for any senior fans I know of.
Fans representatives who do not represent the views of the fans - BW sounds a right laugh - if you want to sit down book row 1 you silly ****
Every meeting has a fans representative complaining about fans standing up. How about one saying they should arrange things to keep both groups happy at away matches? Virtually every game you see on TV or at the KCOM has 90% of fans standing. Donwe have more unfit fans than anyone else. When raising the issue of stewarding perhaps they could ask why stewards eject home fans for things they let away fans do without being even spoken to about.
Ha ha, I meant that the trust, OSC and other groups' memberships probably don't make up the majority, but yeah true. It's all acedemic anyway since no matter who is there, they'll do as they wish.
Not sure that is directly relevant to my comment but hey ho. Maybe other clubs have just as many complainers but you don't see them because you don't read their meeting minutes or visit their forums as much? Maybe the reps should come up with ideas like you say. Or maybe the club should hear their complaints and think of ways around it? At least the complaints are being heard. Perhaps you could email the club with your suggestions on the issue?
I have got my pass until 31/12/17 and even I am struggling to get up the oomph to be bothered to go. Really sad times
None of those invited are protesters, or represent any protesting group. How are these people going to find solutions to curtail protesting in the future?
