There's no way Laces will be able to keep up with all his jerky movements during the interview. This could turn out to be an off the wall interview or just bad.
I want to start a new organisation....working title 'Get over yourself, love.' There is a growing group in society who are so precious they should be auctioned on Flog It. The latest one (which has set me off, but believe me there are many) are a couple who complained because a doctor said that the father of a patient had manfully brought in the child in the absence of the mother. Wow, drag him to the stocks for sexism. If that is the worst that happens to them in life, they will be very lucky because how they will cope when someone is really unpleasant to them I have no idea. Sadly the doctor is a consultant so probably has to see this family....if I was a GP, I'd suggest they find another practice....one which would wrap them in cotton wool and never offend them by making a throwaway comment. Everyone who joins my society will be required to toughen up the fragile before nasty things happen to them and they need a spine. Never apologise unless you have something to apologise for...the correct response to most sensitivities will be a roll of the eyes and a 'Really!'
I usually say woman up, but I accompany it with a smile because I am not offended by the use of words that have entered the language and we all know what it means.
My application is in the post, can we change the response from "really"to my normal "tosser". It definately fits better. Yours the ageist b'stard.
And why do they have to give warnings about violence before a crime thriller. I don't like excessive gore and cruelty, but I am capable of deciding a programme isn't for me and turning it off....without needing counselling. They even post a warning before Midsomer Murders....roll eyes...really!
And every episode of Doc Martin is preceded by a warning “this shows surgical procedures”. No ****, Sherlock!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-42009111 Article about the increase in people not getting their car tax (1.8%) since it went paperless. It says the government has potentially lost £107m. It's not clear if this is in addition to what they lost with paper ones, nor does it seem to take into account the money saved from not having to produce paper discs and post them. Would there be no story if these things were included?
My Chinese neighbour told me he was opening a Crow's shop . I said " Don't you mean a Clothes Shop ? He said " no , come and have a Rook "....
