I decided recently to go on a bit of a health kick. Lots of running which was going well. Lots of veggie smoothies which was going well. Limited booze and red meat which was going ok.

And then as usual my lower back popped for no reason other than it likes to do that every so often. So I’ve probably got weeks of pain and painkillers to look forward to.

Done the discs before, that really does hurt. I’m hoping this is more of a shorter term twinge, maybe a nerve. I was smashing it on the treadmill, felt fantastic, 5 minutes from finishing and getting ready to go and watch the lad play rugby and then suddenly POP!
