There's probably some kind of brainwashing going on here but I really like Liverpool as a city and hate Manchester (thought it was a dump) but it seems that the opinion changes depending on who you support which doesn't really make sense.
Some of the main brainwashers who did a lot of the damage were scousers themselves, Bleasedale, Carla Lane, Cilla, Tarbuck, Joey Barton and many more that live/lived up to the stereotype. But I'm sitting here on my favourite hubcap in my best shellsuit, just been for a nice perm and quaffing a bottle of white lightning, life couldn't be better, so I've calmed down and I'm going to cash my giro tomorrow instead.

I actually really like Liverpool, my best mate is a scouser as it happens but on a football forum it's fair game to whip each other. Manchester is obviously better though, bias or no bias.
Never visited either. Tempted to go to Manchester in a couple of weeks though and will be going to Liverpool in May.
Nah I'm working that which pissed me off as OT was on my list for this season. We go to the Etihad on the 29th off this month but I'm trying to swap a shift to go.
