http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-41992351 The suggestion is that with a possible Mugabe succession nigh, the military will not tolerate the purging of people in the Zanu PF party who were prominent in the "war of liberation" , in favour of / preparation for that successor. Or in summary ... Mrs Mugabe - you have one last chance to max out on your govt credit card.
What a sad situation. Zimbabwe went from the bread basket of Africa to a nation on it's knees. It's a classic example of going from one of the richest countries in Africa to one of the poorest by a mismanaged transition to majority rule and having a ruthless, greedy dictator who cares less for his own people than the previous Apartheid regime. Let us hope for no more bloodshed.
Zimbabwe might have had a better chance without a dictator like Mugabe in charge for so long - for 37 years Castro managed 49 years.
Closer to home, something quite remarkable has happened: Nigel Farage has been held to account for the ****e that spews out of his mouth http://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...nt-ukip-lose-withdraw-statement-a8054276.html Of course there's been no mention of this by the BBC...
Somewhat bizarrely, after acknowledging his error and admitting that HNH were non-violent, Farage then goes on to say: “I am very surprised at Hope Not Hate’s announcement today that they have won their legal case against me. Some victory! Their statement today is thoroughly disingenuous." That's right out of the Trump book of Bollocks!!
If Sessions can't remember anything why did they give him his job? He's like a bus driver who can't remember his route!
Breitbart are trying to claim that, somehow, HnH had to pay his legal fees as part of the settlement, which of course the Farage zealots wholeheartedly believe in spite of the fact this is clearly bollocks.
I note with some glee that Herr Farage's daughters are just about to enter the orbit of that good ol' boy Roy Moore's fantasies. Hope Nigel is planning a wee family trip to Alabama soon!
It's inevitable that he'll turn up, as long as they have some sort of separatist movement. Alabamexit? I doubt that his kids actually know who he is though, as he rarely seems to bump into them or their respective mothers.
Alex Salmond being Alex Salmond. The twat at the end is Andre Walker, whose political career went down in flames because he's a moron: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/pol...-plotting-smear-campaign-in-YouTube-clip.html He joined Breitbart instead, so he knows all about working for utter ****e propaganda outlets.
Since somebody who appears to have based their entire knowledge on what the Daily Mail tells him to think asked on Question Time... please log in to view this image The only surprise is that, for a change, it wasn't a Tory councilor masquerading as a member of the public
The irony for Mugabe is the very vets he pandered to who ruined the national agricultural sector etc are now the ones usurping him because he apparently tried to remove them from his succession plans.
Hey, at least he made the UN General Assembly laugh: Took a thriving country with massive social problems and drove it into the ground to feed his own corruption and greed. Utter ****house. It would be nice if this was a new start for Zimbabwe, but it seems unlikely to be the case, unfortunately. Let's hope the general consensus is wrong.
