Love him!! Got everyone up on the stage in about 1996/97 in Poole.... much to the despair of the security
It took a marriage to a New Zealand girl to make me listen to Split Enz. Probably NZ's most well known rock band. Everybody must know this one. I Got You: And if you don't then you'll know them as Crowded House. This is [Always take the] Weather With You: Now I bet you know them. Incidentally, I've been down Mount Pleasant Street in Auckland [listen to the lyrics in the 2nd song] because an in-law lived there at the time. The only thing is it isn't called Mount Pleasant St, just plain old Pleasant St. Poetic licence, I guess. Apparently Neil Finn's sister lived in Mount Pleasant ROAD, but not at 57, so there's another bit of useless trivia to gum up your brain as it does mine. It's not even notable enough for a pub quiz.
