Then, Pixie joined in with your ****s and giggles, and I thought that he had welched on his bet, and was claiming that his bet was the same as yours. I admit that I was mistaken in that. The facts remain. I have no bet with you, because we were talking at cross-purposes, and there was clearly no accord between us. My original bet with Pixie stands, even though he is desperately trying to wriggle out of it. His cowardice will not have been missed by the lads. Even his most ardent brown-noser has turned on him, and Pixie has told him to "shut up!" This has not been a good day at the office for Pix.
