    I think personally its merely a matter of influence and span of control

    Theres more moeny to be made in other ways and wars are after all mostly about resources. There is currently no real shortage of them in the areas that matter.

    What happens if china is really short of something..... or russia. their little antics in ukraine and crimea are all about influence and not losing it but its never spilling further.

    IF the world sinks into a desperate shortage of oil without renewables driving the replacement then there will be wider conflicts.

    the question for me is who the **** would want france anyway? far better as a milk cow consumer society than a serfdom.

    That Brazil team. Puts some of the English players to shame who all pull out. These guys wanna play every game for their country.
