I've doubled up Caid Du Lin with:
    Gabrial The Great Lingfield 15:20
Consistent, Scudamore on board, up 2 lbs after a close 2nd last time out in a good race.
4/1 doubled up with 9/2 I got on Caid Du Lin

Oiiii!!! <laugh> you will be pleased to hear i cannot see the Fav getting beat!! Altho raised for 8lbs for his last win and this is his first run for 200 odd days he looks a talented sort and this is just a stepping stone I’m sure for bigger and better things and the stable are knocking out winners right left and central!! But good luck to all!!

Great shout fella. Nobody can account for the winner. Looked weighted to the hilt and was counting my money and wondering just how many pints I owed you when he took it up Stick!!

The penny will drop one of these days with Burrows Lane. Hope it's today and 4/1 will do for me!

Cheers fellas. Had a big big bet on it at 7's and thought we were home for all money turning in. Maybe the lad got him to the front a bit too soon but the mistake two out really didn't help. Gutted that it didn't oblige and as ever, regardless of what you all say, I hate passing on info to you guys when they don't oblige. I know a lot of you choose to follow them and no one is holding a gun to your heads but I still have a feeling of responsibility.

Alex Hammond meanwhile continues to be an albatross for two horses a day.

Stick, actually watched the heat and felt the saddle monkey aboard your beast didn’t exactly excel. In my opinion he went for home far, far too soon. Turning in it looked like he’d win by half the track but his stamina had gone between the last 2 hurdles and he was treading water from that point on. Had the pilot held onto the old boy for a little bit longer a very different result might have materialised. In the saddle monkeys defence though he did do well to get the horse racing at all. Caid Du Lin jinked somewhat as the tapes went up and a lesser rider might have fallen out the side door. If the handicapper leaves him on his present mark or raises him just a couple of pound would have a decent chance of recouping losses next time.

Mr Henderson’s charge jumped very big throughout and already at such a young age looks like he could do with fences.

Unison though…cor blimey. Named after the most incompetent and useless trade union (and there are plenty of qualifiers) of the lot.

Exactly, was still a cracking run and beat the fav, that Unison was very very well handicapped on it's best form. Just typical he had to come back to form today.

Least yours ran well, mine jumped one turned it's nose up, jumped another one lost all interest proceeded to Heather Trott for 1 minute then pull up! Waited 15 mins to watch it for 1 minute 30 seconds!!!

Btw changing the subject. What cake did you take to fob? Was it a Victoria sponge or a nice carrot cake? Or was it a couple of Belgium buns out of Greggs

After your message I told the other half we needed to take cake....she thought it was a wind up. Nobody took cake so if we had I would now be Fergals favourite owner in the syndicate. Serious opportunity missed.
There is an open invitation to all the members of the syndicate to go to the yard on a Saturday morning and then join the group of owners at the Black Inn afterwards for the full monty breakfast. This is something I definitely intend doing. If I am likely to be going alone I may have to look for volunteers from here. Would be a great day to do that and then go on to Cheltenham for a days racing.
