I've posted about it on your board at the time of the transfer I could see that Fonte was the reason he was playing well, Fonte was always in his ear telling him when to hold the line and when to attack the ball for some reason the people that matter at Liverpool couldn't see this. With CB's it's all about the partnership and Lovren needs that controller alongside him he wont get that with us and will move on.
He's had plenty of chances but quite simply he isn't good enough and if we can get a good player in alongside the superb Matip then our defence will be a different unit all together.

We broke Shevchenko in the CL final, he was never the same player. When he stepped up to take the pen I never thought for a second he'd miss but when I watched it back his face tells it all, he was a mess internally.
The midfield imo would be very good if we could keep certain players and set the 3 up like this next season. Can Keita Coutinho Frustrating that it's quite likely that only 1 of that 3 will be with us next season.
