Is it Nigel's fault Cairney, Koren and the whole of our midfield refuse to take a man on try and break down a defence or they simply pass it sideways. He picks the team, its not his fault the midfield have literally no end product, we have a midfield that should be good enough but isn't. We have no money to keep splashing out, Fryatt is a good striker and yes he plays better off someone, we have no money to purchase a striker if we did we would of bought Howard/Iwelumo but we don't so we had to get a freebie.

surely the whole point of the manager is to get the team to play to their strengths. he assembled a squad with a system in mind, they are his players now, and are following his instructions. watching the ball go from side to side and back and forth was mind numbing and all at the instructions of pearson.

I don't think the problem is players now. Sure we're missing Stewart, but I don't think he is playing to strengths. Where were the through balls for our pace players to chase? Possession is great, but if you don't do anything with it, it's useless.

I love the fact you think we have any 'pace players'. <laugh> That's one of our biggest problems!

And yeah, possession is great, but what does it lead to? We make 10, 15, 20 passes in our own half, between our midfield and defense, then get chased down, pass it to the keeper, hoof it upfield and lose it anyway. There's no cutting edge, apart from the odd ball in a million from Cairney or Koren.
