I'm a Teams lad myself so i know where andy has come from and how remarkable its been in terms of the jump from a fairly ragtag area to where he is now and it sort of gave me a lot of pride when he was breaking through. I can't hate the lad too much because only a lying ****ing hypacrite would say that they were not interested in £80k a week and a real shot at trophies etc at the age of 22.

However, i wouldn't mind seeing him go the way of woodgate and just have this niggling thigh injury for an unreasonable amount of time and then see what its like to be left high and dry by a club that no longer rates you or has faith in you, and to no longer be in a position to negotiate etc. then he might see what its like to be on the recieving end and what a cruel game football can be.

Hoping more for a Keane sized flop.

Yeah 80k is attractive, forgetting though he's already on 30k and Liverpool are going nowhere. Stand as much chance of winning a trophy as we do these days. 30k a week at a club you 'love' and playing for fans who worship you sounds better to me. I'd take a 30k contract at Newcastle over 80k at Liverpool anyday. Especially when promised a new deal in 6 months time.

No offence lad. . . STOP BEING ****ING PATHETIC! He is still a Geordie born and bred, and i hope he does well. But, i also hope one day we will be much better. He's gone now, so just ****ing move on. He did well and i'm glad we got a good price for him. And for the people saying he didn't have to leave, yes, of course he didn't. But it would be difficult staying at the club you love when your not wanted. Pardew even said he asked Andy to hand in a transfer request
