On a serious note though I been looking into magnesium oil/spray

Long term stuff like omeprazole lowers your magnesium levels.

Magnesium is better absorbed via the skin, so applied as an oil, than a supplement

I'm always open to new ideas even if I'm incredibly sceptic.
I'll read up tomorrow when I haven't had a shed load of wine :emoticon-0148-yes:

I was a bit like that then went through a phase where I was feeling dizzy and had a lack of energy. Went through bloods etc then a mate told me to get vitamin D levels checked. They should have been in the 70's but were 12.

Working nights etc meant little sun and being of Asian background its common apparently

Do I don't rule stuff out. The magnesium thing is common apparently with people with acid reflux etc and decinately a symptom of long term use for drugs like omeprazole

But yeah have a look at the symptoms

I've had dozens of blood tests over the years to check deficiencies and allergies and every time they've come back clear.
It's so frustrating knowing that things aren't great health wise and yet nothing has been found through the various tests.
My GP spoke to me about possible MS but as of yet that's not come to anything.

Same here mate. All sorts of tests and loads of blood and turn s out it was something simple like Vit D

I have been speaking to people who were told they had fibromyalgia but magnesium sorted them out

When you are sober have a research and things like insomnia, tiredness and acid reflux are typical symptoms

An Xmas do at one of the banks I worked for. It was held upstairs in the boardroom for all traders, sales, and support staff.

A fair bit of alcohol was consumed and I ended up taking one of the back office girls back down to the trading floor and shagging her across the desk.

Unfortunately, the whole episode was caught on security cameras. The security guys took great delight in showing it to anybody who wanted to see it! The poor girl was mortified and quit very soon afterwards.

Luckily there was no YouTube in those days or I just know some **** would have posted it on there!

Being technically disliterate , a woman was trying to sell me something over the phone once and to try to get rid of her I said " Send me some information " . She said " Do you want me to fax it to you " ..I said " sure " .. she said ' What's your fax number " ..I said " What's that ? " After a few uncomfortable seconds we both politely said our goodbyes .

I've got to go have the camera down my throat.. have had acid reflux for years. Taken omeprazole for too long.

Had blood tests this years and found my folate levels really low. Stuck me on folic acid tablets. While taking those my acid reflux was better. Then had a stomach bug this year which made my reflux absolutely terrible again..

I don't get insomnia as a consequence though. Just generally always feel tired. Reading stuff about long term use of omeprazole is quite scary as have been taking them on and off for years.

    Tablets?

I've identified certain foods which make it worse.

    Spicy food
    Fatty food
    White bread

Though interestingly when I'm in Spain their fresh white bread doesn't give me heartburn at all. In fact when I'm in Spain I barely get reflux at all. My Mrs reckons is stress related as well.

Tablets are ok too but currently the oils are said to be better. Absorbed through the skin, soles of the feet etv

It's the tiredness point you made that made me think of the magnesium. Many people got told they had fibromyalgia etc and given all sorts of meds. Of those many found out about magnesium and say it changed their life

And yeah stress is the biggest factor with many ailments but due to various reasons doctors aim to prescribe for the associated symptoms

My old man suffers quite badly from acid reflux but when he how's abroad he is like a different person
