Adnams do some fantastic ales. Suffolk based, out on the coast. I only mention this as was in the Spoons where I work last week, (honestly no ****, I was!), and they had this Adnams on the pump. Closer inspection and it said Barley wine. I asked the bloke behind the bar what the **** it was and he said yes, it was indeed barley wine. 8.5%! I didn't bother.
Have to say I am a big kebab fan. From the home made fried meat kebabs to the takeaway ones. Kobeda type are my favourite @Commachio not so much chicken these days unless they use thigh meat. Find the breast meat too dry unless its part of a mixed grill type thing
So apparently they don't like people singing Saints versions of the songs they're playing at the Christmas market
I don't mind a donner now and again There us different grades of donner. A place down the road make their own. 100% meat. Still needs the fat to hold together obviously but its premium minced meat. You xsn really taste the difference to your average donner meat. Pricey mind, £6:50 ish. But well worth it now and again
I constantly surprise myself at how I can still chuck out a decent run. ****ed knee, ****ed ankle (both football), ****ed back (genetic) and I’ve hardly lived liked a professional athlete but I still seem to do alright.
I used to be a good runner, long distance, especially cross country. But 0-10mph in about a week. hit sprinter.
Try to do 25-30k a week but it has to be on the treadmill now. Used to be 40k a week around the common. Loved that.
I used to run cross country for the marines. Used to pound ridiculous mileage. Before we passed out the last test was a 30 miler across Dartmoor.
Maximum respect fella. My son’s godfather did his spell in NI. When he spoke about that stuff I just listened as anything I said would be futile!
