Because I don't want to give the Allams my money and feel like I'd be letting them get away with taking the piss if I kept on handing it over with no consequence for their actions. Others feel differently. Each to their own.
They are not. It's just an excuse. They get backed till the hilt away from home and we have won once in a year.
The thought of giving money to the Allams brings me out in a rash. I can' believe that they are demanding an apology from the council after the way they talk to and treat people.
The players get paid a shed load of money for under performing, how are they being punished? We get treated like **** by the owners and pay for them being twats. Your choice if you want to go and good luck to you.
Extremely good point, I have been a many away matches before coming out here, and the team has had nothing short of excellent support. So now to say protests at the KCOM are affecting the team is just an excuse.
Sadly that is how short sighted and moreover selfish they are. Whilst TV & Parachute payments come in, I am sure you are right the fans money is in their mind not significant, however they still want to screw the last penny out of us all. What is in my mind the most damaging with their policy, they are discouraging the youngsters from becoming City fans, which will affect the club long after they are gone.
I'm not saying it's an excuse, more along the lines why let bullies stop you doing what you enjoy etc
They will still be paid shed loads when the Allams go.....guess you'll have another excuse not to go at the point?
My comment "it was just an excuse" was aimed at the Allams using it as an excuse why the team played badly. I, like you, took the decision to keep going to games, only because I am of an age now when I do not know how much longer I have got left, so choose to keep going, as I have always felt the Allams aren't going to sell anytime soon. If I had been 10 years younger I was have boycotted, as I like many hate the thought of putting money into these peoples pockets. P.S. I wish now I hadn't paid for my pass, as I am away in the Far East now, so have paid for it and not getting to games. Though my son is making use of it sometimes. P.P.S. However Chazz tells me he is using it whenever no one is sitting there, so I don't feel so bad.
You have chose not to go, he's not stopped you, you don't like him....neither do I. But he won't stop me going to watch my team, none of the **** owners we have had in the 25yrs+ have stopped me to matter how I've felt about them
My point was that the players are not being punished. They are getting paid to do there jobs. I decide whether I go or not and don't need flippant comments off you. The Eqyptians mummies have taken away the fun.
I don't want to line their pockets anymore, it really is that simple. I am not concerned with your reasons for going or not going.
No you posted a cheap dig at fans who are boycotting, suggesting they'll still do so when the Allams are gone. Why would they? Back it up.
