    There was truly someone in radio Newcastle phone on who championed redknapp as our next manager! Short likes money... Harry likes money... For this reason I doubt it could happen

    I don' think there can be any truth in this. The man has literally just been sacked from a championship team for losing 6 on the bounce and only winning 1 game.

    The article was written by someone from the Chronicle (hardly a credible source of information)

    The article seemed based on an old story that Harry once played golf with Ellis Short.
