I have a feeling that mike is having one last laugh on us. Making us feel he is finally fooking off before turning around and saying that no one meets his valuation of us so he is staying. It's all gone a bit quiet!
I'm sure out of the alleged 5 parties you have to hope 1 of them is interested, Yes a change is now required,
"According to Sky sources (aka the 'little birds' ) a bid has been made to buy NUFC by an overseas consortium, who flew in yesterday on their dragons."
Why? It’s a really good album! Or are there subliminal messages on it? “Mustard chinos are stylish, mustard chinos are stylish, mustard chinos are stylish” Would explain a lot.
apparently we well get 500 million to spend when we get bought out. These journos just totally make up a load of carp. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/869439/Newcastle-takeover-Rafa-Benitez
I think the ball is rolling. There might not be a better time to sell. We look good enough already to stay in this division and have a manager who's got us here with minimal extra investment. If there's genuine interest from a group that can take us moving forward, then to not take it, possibly lose the manager and need an out of work manager to pick it up, would be terrible for a profitable outcome. So I think a sale will happen.
He's never leaving boys, he's just leading us on the same seductive dance as these photos. Absolute tease. Staveley's oryt, but when's she really guna cavort around drunk in sexual overtones???? If she does, dibs on first send
The club has never and most likely will never be more saleable than it is right now. 100% this is the end of Ashley, but I'm still a bit sceptical as to whether we'll end up with a serious player in charge. I'm actually also weirdly a little saddened by it. It feels a bit like surrender to me. There's something quite inspiring about a half-baked bunch of Championship footballers playing out of their skin to sit top 8 in the Premiership. There's a feeling of being in the trenches with players like Matt Ritchie and Jamaal Lascelles that I'm not sure fans of Chelski or Mabu Dhabi City really get. The arrogance and attitude of the big name players really grates on me; are we going to enjoy it as much without that sense of belonging, if that's what happens to us?
Considering these teams and their work-ethic only last a season in the prem generally, then yes. If we do well either the likes of Lascelles get bought, or we go out and buy higher-class players. The Leicester effect. Whilst I don't agree with it, the gravy train isn't slowing down. Time to **** or fall off the pot and into the championship in 2 or 3 years.
This. I sorta get the sentiment of liking what we have atm, but it won't last - and your mad if you think this is the sum total of Rafa's ambition. He'd be gone after another disappointing window and we'd be left with a crop of mostly championship level players looking for a new cheap out of work, preferably been out of the game for 20 years, dinosaur waiting to come in. I'm sure if we did follow the Chelski/Citeh way of doing things we'd soon forget about how hard Joselu works.
No doubt you're both right, just offering up a thought on it. I wasn't lamenting the loss of Scott Sellars when Daveeeeed was flying down the left. Will be interesting to see how things change, if they change.
