As you say it was only announced today. The world just does'nt know what's coming and thank God it is. Hopefully it's in time to save the world from global warming and all the other unpleasant effects that we have (up to now) been seemingly powerless to prevent or deal with. Of course that other benefit, very cheap energy is a tremendous bonus. It seems to be too good to be true, but it is really happening. Now when huge companies like Airbus take out patents on this technology and government agencies like NASA do likewise, then we know that this is for real, and of course the ongoing research by so many countries, India ,Japan, China, and more also make this more believable. Of course our country (GB) just happens to be totally ignoring this technology and has gone for expensive dead ducks like Hinkley Point which will be obsolete before it is built, and we will have to pay for it when in fact it will be totally unnecessary as by then LENR will be in the market. Why have an expensive and dirty (radioactive) fuel in a huge plant when LENR is clean and can be made up in small cheap units.
New energy? We don't need that when we can borrow/spend/hock billions from the Chinese for some 'modern' nuclear fuel..... #blueink

Indeed. Of course I wouldn't want everyone to get excited [oh, I see nobody did, except Handyman]. Perhaps I can interest people in Tesla's solar roof tiles. Cheaper than a conventional roof tile, stronger too, but converts the daylight energy to electricity, and is that efficient they'll even produce power in strong moonlight. Don't buy a new roof until you have at least considered these: https://www.tesla.com/en_GB/solarroof

I think that the High street and Above Bar currently look exactly like what they are, hastily put up buildings that replaced the ones damaged during the Blitz.

The Sinner on Netflix. A must-watch. Dark as anything, but brilliant. Episode seven is going to stay with me for a long time.

And Boris Johnson’s dad, who doesn’t think BoJo will even know he is in the programme from start to finish. I recall a story, where Johnson senior was barracked by someone shouting “Johnson you’re a w*nker”, to which he replied “I think you are mistaking me for my son”.
