Agree that we should probably stick with Pickford now.

    Henderson is utter ****e though.

Given the opposition... that was a pretty good display ... way better than some of the qualifiers against postmen and bar staff ...

    It's all subjective....One man's legend is another man's bellend

    For example John Terry <ok>

As has been said below he has been very good for us generally despite a Shakey game recently away at Stoke. He’s still young and as has been said, you clearly don’t want us if you think that with all respect.

Fair enough. Don’t think he deserves to be in there above Mee or Tarkowski on current form and I expect he’d be seen by the opposition as a weak point if he’s starting games in Russia.

A decent game. Watched it with my best mate who's Irish and kicked every ball!

He's not confident because Ireland don't score many goals.

Looking forward to the Tuesday game now.

He should've come on earlier. An away goal tonight would've been massive.

    I'd start him on Tuesday.

  13. I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it, but... it's clear that England miss Kane. No way can Vardy be expected to do it against the likes of Germany.

Winks did very well, of course. That's another England regular in the squad. How many is that, now?

Rose, Trippier, Dier, Winks, Alli, Kane.

That more than half the first XI.

Well done, lads! You can all kiss the badge.

Or Kane as they decided to rest themselves for Spurs. Shame players have that attitude and it’s players like that that have made the English National team dead. If players had the heart and pride of true English lads like Vardy and Maguire maybe the team would be taken more seriously. The difference being of course is that the two mentioned there are proud northern hardened lads who want to play football, not little southern softies

  16. Ah, that's a shame, see.

I was kinda hoping that you rabid Foxes could, just for once, give it a rest, and just agree with the general sentiment being expressed by the rest of the Nation that this current "Golden Generation" is mostly Spurs.

I'm not saying that Vardy isn't a good option to have on the bench (or at least back at the hotel), but it really is time for you boys to wake and smell the coffee.

As Winks was injured against Palace and substituted and Dele picked up a hamstring injury in the win against Real Madrid, I wouldn’t call it resting.
