Tom Hogan reckons soft ground 'not ideal' for GLB. Old boy Maarek in contrast gets his ground. Both drifting like the Kon Tiki in the betting.

I'm intrigued that Diamond Cauchois has drifted out to 4/1 in the 2.55 at Naas. Is it just that he was too short this morning, or isa the Oscar Knight money significant? Any of the Irish lads hazard a conjecture?

I was given Oscar Knight Ew Harbottle but looks a tough race so happy to sit that one out.

Buick's off my Christmas Card List. Stopped riding in the final furlong and finished seventh when I had a big each way 6 places bet.

Glad I am not at Wincanton today as I would never get out of the bar with all those Badger beers on like Fursty Ferret. <ale><cheers>

Do not shoot the messenger time. From what is normally a pretty reliable source in the Malton area:

    Wolverhampton 5:50 FAST ACT (5/1)

Massive game tonight in Denmark for Ireland, don't see many goals in this one so backed 0-0 at 6/1.Be great if we could knick an away goal for return game in Dublin on Tuesday.
