Im genuinely surprised that the lease for a publicly owned, built for the people of Hull is not already available in the public domain. WTF is hiding in it, and what's the Allam's motive for wanting them released?
How could I know when I was never allowed to know? I was just one of the many who paid for it, as for speculating, my guess is there will be plenty of people doing that once the full details are released, if they ever are. I would hazard a guess that some of those involved will come out of it looking like 5 star cxxts. I may be wrong though, I often am.

I took a wild guess and pointed out that I may be wrong in my assumptions. I have no idea what the Allam motivation is for wanting a release or why at this time. They’ll just want it releasing so people can see there’s nothing specific about installing gates, or taking down council signs. A commercial lease with a private company would never normally be made public, regardless of it being a council owned property.
This is a typical Allam response, there is obviously nothing in the lease about the signs having to stay, as HCC when the lease was drawn up never imagined there would be anyone so much of a **** to take them down. The Allams just want to prove legally they are within their rights. They fail to see the moral affect of their actions, and frankly they don't care, and are just trying to justify their actions.
How much trouble would I be in if say, if someone in a uniform said somebody else wouldn't press charges about an alleged incident if I stopped my protest (I assume online as in the real world)....... ........and I didn't stop #ehabsgaggedme

It'll depend on whether you have the conversation with the person in uniform on tape? Easier to do with today's technology. If you haven't it depends on what you did and what the penalty is if they pressed charges. Sometimes you have to stand up for what's right and pay the price.

As PhilWestUpper says, maybe rugby league bias. Though F.c fans used to portray him as the devil incarnate when he first took over at City he negotiated some very beneficial perks for FC, many of which annoyed the Allams when they uncovered them.
They certainly have fingers in other pies but I understand they aren't making much progress on one of them.
