Well, if it hastens the demise of May and her makeshift government then maybe this should be welcomed
It's a fine example of being damned if you do, damned if you don't: the time where the Priti Little Liar should have been given the chance to resign was at the weekend when the extent of her wide-reaching bullshitting became clear, and her failing to do so should have been reason to sack her come Monday morning. Instead she failed to resign when given the chance, buggered off to leave an underling to take the brunt of the dressing-down in her stead, and after being recalled to Westminster she was given a second chance to resign rather than be shown to be considerably sacked - which was certainly justified when her supporters started issuing threats. Or to put it another way... Sadly, it's too late to post this. Well, almost...
On a day when he blatantly lied again, playing the 'Trump-reality' approach to his inaccurate account to Parliament yesterday, this says everything you need to know about Johnson!! 'Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has praised Priti Patel for her work as a cabinet minister. Speaking on a trip to Washington DC, he said: "Priti Patel has been a very good colleague and friend for a long time and a first class secretary of state. "It's been a real pleasure working with her and I'm sure she has a great future ahead of her." '
Recent polling reveals 64% of Americans believe Donald Trump is not honest or trustworthy. In related news 36% of Americans are booger eatin' morons.
Great and surprising news that you have 64% of 'close to' intelligent people in the States. In Scotland we only have about 45% atm but our education programme continues. In related news, for an attractive woman Pretty Patella is one ugly person.
And yet a significant proportion of those would still vote for him!! (Judging by some of the voxpop reporting around the first year anniversary).
Lucky a couple of different people screencapped this tweet, because it mysteriously vanished from Laura Kuntssberg's Twitter feed... please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
The Dire Leader has shown her credentials by deciding that Priti Little Liar's replacement will be Penny Mordaunt - the same Penny Mordaunt who lied to the British public in the run-up to the EU Referendum by claiming the UK did not have the power to veto Turkey's entry into the EU (which we did - emphasis on "did") coupled with anti-migrant and anti-Muslim sentiments. On the subject of liars, in proof that the fruit doesn't fall too far from the moron tree (and, by the looks of things, landed directly on its head) Donald Trump Jr decided to give away half of the candy his daughter collected at Halloween "to teach her a lesson about socialism" - although what this actually does is teach his daughter, Chloe, that her father is a ****ing idiot who doesn't know what socialism is but thinks it's bad anyway, not least because there isn't a single example in the history of Socialism of somebody having to give half their birthday presents let alone half the food on their dinner plate to The Party, either of which is the closest comparison to his stunt.
Think that should read: ‘Thank you to my family (who have to support me) and my remaining few friends and the brainless party faithful for their support, as opposed to the thousands who are being beastly to me!’
Just been listening to Art and Paul singing "The Boxer" (much underrated song!) and it occurred to me that we might dedicate the chorus to the current POTUS - or possibly to the leading brexit campaigners, or a fair few members of the current cabinet. You know the bit I mean? Comes up for the first time at about 1:30. Got it? Didn't know whether to post it here or on the Music thread!
It should have said, 'it was always a risk trying to sell arms to Israel a the same time as trying to close a deal with the Saudis, I'd like to know who fekking grassed me up to he press. I'l be back or SHE will fekking pay for this'.

The latest Trump-Russia reporting suggests that Michael Flynn was paid up to $15m to get Fethullah Gulen to Turkey. That's the National Security Adviser of the United States being paid by a foreign government that's run by a dictator to abduct a US citizen. His son was also involved, which rather complicates things for the self-confessed foreign agent. Just in case you're wondering who he is, here's a twat helpfully pointing him out: please log in to view this image
Is this the third Tory councillor / activist to pose as a "general audience member"? I've lost count.
