Christ that's a shocking decision. Never a penalty in a million years! Get Washington on........he'll score.
How the mighty have fallen - Holland struggle to beat Scotland 1-0, and it was scrappy from what I saw
NI needed to have a bit more adventure than what they showed tonight. Terrible decision awarding the penalty though
Sweden - Italy or England - Germany? Obviously Sweden is more interesting. This will be the first time ever that a Sweden game has taken precedence over an England one. The thing with the Swedish team is that they have been really boring ever since they had some success in 1994. It is only now that Janne Andersson (pinched from my team, Norrköping) took over that they have started to play attacking football with the philosophy that scoring goals is the object of every game with no worries about who you are playing. I expect Sweden to shock the Italians this evening, but it may well not be enough over two legs. Fingers crossed.
I wonder if I can last to half-time before I nod off watching England zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I have a bad feeling about the game tonight. I think the Germans may put 4 or 5 past a very make-shift side. I'm not sure there's any point having friendlies at this time of the year, especially against teams like Germany and Brazil. Have a look at fringe players against slightly lesser opponents so that they don't get their confidence completely destroyed. That could well happen in the next two friendlies. On another note........what a twat Danny Drinkwater is. He should never be called up again!!
On 14 November 2012 Sweden weren't so boring, or at least Zlatan wasn't. Strangely Caulker scored for England that night.
England fans get a lot of stick, but the respect shown at Wembley before kick off tonight was superb!!
Can't really be bothered watching the football watching the rugby bath reserves v Leicester reserves in the Anglo Welsh cup. It's actually a decent game Leicester lead 17 - 13 at half time....
