Faurlin actually got ''player of the week'' or whatever it is in the Mail on Sunday(I know, I know) due to tackles won and completed passes.

Believe it or not, Gabbidon got defender of the week too, due to tackles/blocks etc!

Yea I just watched via a dodgy stream and even though I thought Faurlin had a good game, I didn't realise his stats were that good from watching. Must be the unassuming ease with which he plays. Deceptively good sometimes.

We had passages of play yesterday when we passed the ball around and looked a real class outfit. We made Everton look like mugs at times and imo Ali was central to this.

Like GMG I watched on a jerky stream that left me in no doubt about Derry, Gabbidon and Hall's quality but as GMG says didn't reflect what Bakes and Everton are saying about Faurlin.

I like the guy and results show he's integral to a pretty solid defensive unit. The frustrating thing for me is that I seem to miss the stuff that delivers the stats Everton suggested about yesterday and others maintain in general. I'd like nothing more than to witness this Faurlin quality for myself. Lots of season left for that fortunately!

Those who were knocking Faurlin & Gabbidon last week have had a dose of humble pie. Onwards and upwards...

i watched via a super stream thats to Northy (thank you) 16:9 ratio bang on and in sync ... i had other streams loaded but they were 2 minutes behind actual play
Faurlin is a wonderful footballer. I am also hoping that who comes in doesn't upset the harmony we have ... The stats are right i feel about him he seems to do things in a effortless way we don't notice that all the time but without it we are not complete

They really weren't very good at all last week, so no humble pie.

    They were very good yesterday.

Great link to a nice well balanced and thought out article. Nice one Bakes.
I did mention in one of my responses about a month ago to put Faurlin in your Dream Team.
Without prejudice, the fella is pure class.

Fortunatley, I was abroad for the Bolton game and wasn't privy to the inevitable backlash following the Bolton result.
Therefore anyone who came on here and lambasted our heroes of last season after only one game must have only just jumped onboard, and
dosen't appreciate where we are now as opposed to just a few seasons ago.

Who's to say which players will make the step-up and be able to perform in the prem.
I bet even Warnock dosen't know.

I think thats one of the reasons we come on here to predict & speculate, in the hope that we get one right ( I told you so. )
and earn a small slice of kudos from our peers.
( Like I just did, with the get Faurlin in your dream team bit. )

But alas, a week is a long time in football.
I think I can confidently say, two weeks ago, 95% of us expected (Deep down ) to be relegated at the end of the season.
Yet we came on here, and and dug deep for the reasons why we wouldn't.

Following the positive news of the last few days, there has been a major shift in our prospective fortunes.
    It's a great feeling isn't it?
Is there a better time to be a QPR fan?
