But he was in a station looking at a train board.... He MUST have been travelling to Sunderland... What other reasonable explanation is there for it????
Cause daft sods run to the bookies when they hear a rumour. Doesn't take much poke to make someone favorite in a small market.
Come on Carlo get you name down for the job, have a pint with lads in the half way house after the Millwall match, then on to one of our many Italian restaurants. We can get the Italy flags out for the Sweden game !
He was free in the summer and didn't become manager. I find it hard to believe he'd come from another job now
Absolutely no chance. He failed in the premier and hasn't been able to get another job and might end up at a club rock bottom of the championship. Speaks volumes.
Yeah, he'll be great playing his defensive, defend-a-1-goal-lead football with our team that has a terrible defence and goalkeeper.
When at Boro he seemed a bit of a mystery to me - no big personality which we need in a manager. But if he is chosen he'll have my backing. He may bring something different to our club.
I watched Boro play a few prem games when he was in charge. They were boring as fluck I know I was watching Boro and not Real Madrid, so my expectations were rational. They seemed scared to make a forward pass - it was all about keeping the ball. With things as they are at the SoL I think this would be suicide Just my opinion
You two get why he's such a bad choice. We've got good attackers, we need a gaffer who plays football with the right balance of attack and defence. Karanka is not that man.
When he did make the press it was for the wrong reasons ie spitting his dummy out and walking out leaving his players and staff in limbo while he sulked. https://www.thesun.co.uk/archives/f...as-boro-boss-after-angry-walk-out-of-meeting/ This happened twice, the other time was after a bust up with Downing.
He took over a team with a terrible defence and Goalkeeper and transformed them from conceding 70 goals to 31. What an awful quality let's give it to a novice whose never managed at this level instead
