Nah I didn't I'm afraid. Would have made it in too close to KO...Any delay and I'd miss the game. Have a rare Sat night off (managing a pub)so at least I can watch it!

Only 4 years ago, but somehow it seems like a different era completely. God, I miss Rickie!

And Stuart Taylor only let one in! Also Pied played 90 minutes, so he must be fit again.

I genuinely think I'd start Austin next game personally. Gabbiadini is a better player technically, but we aren't playing to his strengths. At least Austin can hold it up and head it on his day.

 

Davis captains N.I. for his 100th cap tonight, go on Davoooo.

Also, VVD starts v Scotland tonight in a friendly.

 

Anyone got a coach to Manchester game before? How long does it take returning roughly?

Or even better anyone driving to City in a few weeks and want to split costs?

 

I'll already be up there and doing a couple of days in Cheshire and Manchester, so of no use.

 

Don't disagree but you do realise this is a repeat of what a lot were saying (and got) about 4-5 games ago? He was dropped / rested & after a couple of games of continuing to stutter, was re-introduced. Going round in circles comes to mind.

 

I note that a few fans are calling for Sam Allardyce as manager....dear God, no! This request alone is enough to tell me that fans should never, ever be involved in running a club. The words inmates and asylum spring to mind. Not that he can't manage a football club, but he certainly isn't the manager for Saints....he's more the nuclear option when all else has failed. I'm not happy with how things are going either, but the obituaries written by some fans are a bit premature.

 

Football has become so boring. Everything has been said that can be said about what is in essence a very simple game. It just doesn't interest or entertain anymore as it has all become so very dull and predictable.



I am going to give it a rest for a while. My posts have become quite infrequent of late. I might come on again at some time in the future.

 

We need some good results and positive news just to keep this forum going.....we are dropping like flies.
