Beer.... please.... so..... burnt.... tired..... We won, Everton lost, and my boys smashed up playing the right way. Top stuff but pure knack'd. Oh and can Andy Carroll continue to unimpress me and make me want to leave him in my team while Suarez is mint, me Numptie am.
Welcome back Bluff - Did you win the tournament mate? Good result yesterday for us we're joint top (until City win later!)
Is Bluff asleep? This calls for the classic... Let's draw a moustache on his face with a felt tip pen
Alright, I was watching The Football League Show last night and whilst I was sitting watching it with my cup of tea, an idea came to me. Loan Watch. A weekly feature whilst gives you a short summary of how the players we sent out on loan got on. I would include a link to the highlights of that game and some stats. Do you lot think it's a good idea?
I had a look at the Liverpool website and it says we've only got 3 players on loan. I would write a short paragraph about each players performance and put a link of the team's highlights. Put in some stats and it should be good. Cheers for the feedback by the way!
It would be an excellent addition to the forum as often our players out on loan get forgotten about - and at the end of the day they are still Liverpool players.
Indeed. I'll do at some point early next week because the highlights from the games in which our players are involved in aren't up on the BBC yet so I can't really comment on how the players and the team got on.
I start college in September so i've got some free time from now till then! Once college starts, I'll probably do the match threads and the loan watch and maybe post every so often so I won't be posting as much as I do now. So do you think it's a good idea?
Yeah it's a good idea. Especially for Pacheco as he generates a lot of interest from fans. Is his loan move a done deal yet?
Haven't seen anything on the Liverpool website so I assume he is still at Liverpool. Would like to see him involved against Exeter in the League Cup. When I looked at the Liverpool website earlier, the only players that are on loan at the moment are the two goalkeepers (Hansen and Gulacsi) and Stephen Darby.
Loanees may be a dwindling resource. Accrington Stanley's manager, John Coleman, said on LFC TV that he'd been speaking to Roldolfo about loans and was told we're not sending youngsters out on loan anymore. This suggests anybody going out on loan is deemed not worth keeping and we're looking to get shot of them.
Has anyone heard about Juan Mata's move to Chelsea? I will lose so much respect if it turns out he refused Liverpool and Arsenal for Chelsea. Money is all what players seem to care about nowadays.. Also, Arsene Wenger, anyone seen his extended 2 match touchline ban? Pure madness. Wenger is a broken man, here's a good article trying to explain his current position though, it seems he is actually holding the cards with the board.. (Despite not being able to make most decisions) [Link removed, see below for article] Edit - Just seen the thread of Mata
