Germany is a much bigger country and land prices aren't at the same premium.Germany has a bigger economy than the UK,and your only quoting 1 year, try 10 or 15.it changes your skewed results.

The European Commission's projections from its Ageing Report that was published earlier this year is very important for this debate.
It projects that Germany's population will shrink from 81.3 million in 2013 to 70.8 million in 2060, whereas the UK's will rise from 64.1 million to 80.1 million.
They need 1 million more migrants and we need 10 million less!!

As it stands, there will be 10 million more people living in the UK than in Germany despite Germany being 50% bigger than the UK!

Of course it has everything to do with the EU and immigration, companies bring in Romanian workers etc employed by agency's over there on £4-£5 an hour taking the jobs off locals here, who then have to claim benefits.

Stop making it up.. more fake news.
Multinational and huge companies paying minimum wage whilst making huge profits leaving the tax payer to top up **** wages with benefits.

All true its a fact, they are employed in there own countries which gets around the minimum pay.Of course it destroys your argument so as expected you bury your head in the sand and pretend it doesn't happen.

Dustmann et al (2013) find that each 1% increase in the share of migrants in the UK-born working age population leads to a 0.6% decline in the wages of the 5% lowest paid workers and to an increase in the wages of higher paid workers. Another study focusing on wage effects at the occupational level during 1992 and 2006, found that, in the unskilled and semi-skilled service sector, a 1% rise in the share of migrants reduced average wages in that occupation by nearly 0.5% (Nickell and Salaheen 2008). They also find the same effect in an updated paper, in which they consider the period from 1992 and 2014, however in this extended period the average wage reduction for the unskilled and semi-skilled service sector is just under 0.2% (Nickell and Salaheen 2015).

    Indeed it is, see above.
Germany is an ageing nation - less people mean more empty houses. More empty houses mean cheaper rent.
The UK is a growing nation - more people means no empty houses, No empty houses means housing crisis.
Housing crisis means rising rents and long waiting lists for social housing and more homeless.

When Britain has more land used for housing than golf courses I'll accept that point - as yet it doesn't. House prices are inflated to create/keep a false economic bubble and our housing issues are easily solved by building more houses.

Over tha last 15 years the Germany net migration rate is lower at about 3 per thousand population as opposed to UK's net migration rate at about 4 per thousand per thousand population. However the real wage growth changes massively since 2007 with UK's declined by 10% while Germany's has grown by 14%

You better accept the point then, Toby Lloyd from shelter, who made the claim has held his hand up on twitter and said "OK busted" as he was not using the correct figures for the housing area. https://www.ft.com/content/79772697-54e4-32c9-96d7-5c1110270eb2

    Whoah there...
If you want to cite one of the European Commissions findings that’s ok as long as you accept them all as accurate.
