The first thing that should happen is that the police should demand from all UK media concerns whether they : 1. were doing any "investigative" work on the guy 2. found anything compromising on the guy 3. had contacted the guy about intent to go public about anything in 2
I think this sums up the past eighteen months of British politics quite well... Meanwhile, there's some good news for Priti Patel as she has finally got her own, personal hashtag - PritiLittleLiar
Well it looks as if her days are finally numbered - although it seems that it is the Sun's exposé - yes, the Sun! - of two more unscheduled and clandestine meetings that may be her downfall. And the rumours circulating appear to suggest that Patel was undertaking background work for a leadership bid!! or or https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/4864768/priti-patel-under-pressure-reveal-foreign-meetings/
Patel has been recalled and is en route back to London from her trip to Africa, after leaving her Deputy to face the music in Parliament yesterday. Bearing in mind that she had already allegedly admitted to some of her activities, but seems to have continued to be less than honest in her accounts, even to her own PM let alone the public, assuming she does get sacked she should be forced to pay the costs of this latest junket. She left on the trip clearly to avoid the ongoing outcry, knowing that she had continued to be dishonest in her accounts. Her fault - her cost! However, we will probably discover that this was a last minute arrangement made from No 10 to send her out of the public eye in the hope that it would have all died down in a few days. Wrong!!
The political hack consensus is that Boris will survive only because of the weak state of the government in terms of seats. Patel however may have to be thrown under the wheels of the politics lorry as a gesture of control.
Personally hope it's a very large and preferably overweight lorry...... She's a particularly odious individual!
Uncle Rupert is suggesting he could kill off Sky News if it helps his takeover Don't suppose he'd like to do us all a favour and kill off Sky Sports News too? Meanwhile, somebody tidied up Boris' Wikipedia page... please log in to view this image
Expect a media feeding-frenzy at little after 3pm when KQ100 from Nairobi lands at Heathrow Apparently 22000 are tracking it on Flight radar - no doubt that number might include our beloved Leaderine
She's not got too many friends right now but there's one numbnuts who's putting himself on offer.... 'On Newsnight last night one Tory did speak up for her. Nadhim Zahawi, a member of the foreign affairs committee and, like Patel, an enthusiastic Brexiter, said the campaign against her was all a plot go up by remoaners.' FFS!! Do these people not look in the feckin' mirror occasionally?? (Other publications are available... )
That guy is beyond asshole. He sits on the board of the only company I'm invested in (an oil company in Kurdistan), works (allegedly) a couple of hours a week and draws a spectacularly large salary - when the company isn't even in profit (well, it kind of it but that's a long story). Basically there's never been any evidence to justify his payments, nor does he appear to do anything. He also founded the polling company YouGov, but I don't know if he gets any benefit from that now. If he supports someone you can guarantee there's something dodgy going on. Someone else did speak up for her today (I think it may have been Bernard Jenkin, can't be completely sure). Said that she just acted out of inexperience. Seriously! As if you need experience to know that if you're a minister (actually especially a foreign minister) you need to be liaising carefully with government over what you are doing. If the government is not aware of what she is doing, exactly who is she representing?
She's been in politics since 1995. She's a very experienced lobbyist for tobacco and alcohol companies. And a ****ing moron.
Here's a quote from the few supporters that Priti Little Liar has left "She is going to be pretty angry if she is sacked and she could do some pretty hard damage to Downing Street. No 10 is being naive, the prime minister will create an even bigger problem for herself if she sacks Priti". ...so they're saying that she should be put up for reselection after being sacked then?
She's held 3 offices of State over 3 years and it brings all her respective previous PM's and Tory Grandees into serious disrepute for allowing her to continue her career despite there being regular and public examples of her ineptitude and propensity for extreme Right wing ideologies. Mind you, looking at those previous jobs makes for easy comment: 1. Exec Sec to Treasury. Strange choice for someone having such a problem with 'accounts'...... 2. Minister of State for Employment. At least she should know the rules for claiming benefit...... 3. Sec of State for International Development. Hope she managed to develop some international contacts to get her a job! Israel perhaps??...... Latest is that she will be given the chance to resign. Good riddance - but would put money on her reappearing in the future. These leeches always seem to salvage their careers....
