Yes but when we got rid at 23 to wolfsburg, you guys were busy buying the likes of loldado and lamela so obviously his talent wasn't that obvious back then and wasn't only missed by chelsea

Maybe. Or maybe Mourinho didn't see him getting in ahead of Hazard so sold him. Mourinho then won the league so it can hardly be deemed a massive mistake. Hindsight is a wonderful thing as we all know. No one else in the premier league had spotted him, as has been pointed out by BobbyD, so it's not just Mourinho who made the mistake. He's also far from the only player who has left a club and then kicked on elsewhere. Won't be the last either. I'm just gutted United didn't snap him up but we had the genius that is Kagawa in place at that time so it all ended well enough!

We don't even know whether Liverpool were interested or not. Like I said you can't buy everyone, Chelsea wouldn't want to sell to a rival anyway (back then anyway as they do silly stuff like that now).
