They're good, I have the Ninja and blitz my breakfast every day. It works and it's very good for you especially if they're veg-heavy and not so much fruit. The fruity flavours always dominate so don't worry about kale etc spoiling the taste.
We’ve got a juicer and for a spell I made fresh juice for the kids but it’s ****ing expensive and they’re messy machines that require a lot of washing up effort. The nutri bullet is a piece of piss to make stuff and clean up afterwards. I have decided to make a conscious effort to be a bit more sensible with diet and health as I’ve taken the piss for long enough and I’m getting old.
I do 6 whole apples and 2 whole small lemons, don't peel or anything, just straight in. Pour it over Ice and it's possibly the nicest lemonade you'll ever taste. The kids love it, plus it's quite fun for them. But yeah it's a messy process and not easy things to wash up tbh.
Interesting, I'm a mess physically now but did a lot of road running and track along with footy and martial arts up until I was about 27 when I started having a lot of injury issues. Never got into the healty eating and supplements side of things though.
I use a Nutri Bullet , I agree the stuff does not always look that great , but usually tastes fantastic .
This lad wasn’t a sportsman at all but he wasn’t a smoker or heavy drinker either. He was developing a pot belly at the age of 30 though and he was knackered all the time. I can’t remember what regime the nutritionist put him on but I do recall him having a jacket potato with tuna for lunch every day for two weeks. He said he felt **** the first week and incredible the second week. He got loads of energy back, lost the pot belly, got married and then divorced pretty soon after.
I don't use my breakfast blender as much as I did, mainly for the Monday morning drive now so I don't get tempted by a Sausage and Egg McShit en route. That's usually banana, handful of blueberries, half a pint of skimmed milk and a tablespoon of greek yoghurt. Blend that, top up with water and add half a cup of oats and leave over night. Drink on drive to work! I do these overnight oats for breakfast now; Half a cup of oats in a jar. Top up to half the jar with unsweetened almond milk Add tablespoon of chia seeds Half a scoop of vanilla protein powder Handful ish of dried cranberries. Put the jar lid on and leave overnight. Lovely and creamy and filling for breakfast.
My Ninja gets abused on a daily basis, I can hit my macros every day with that thing. Liquid eggwhites Spinach Peanut butter Bloobs Ice Flax Coconut oil Smash it all together and it tastes like peanutty-coconutty smoothie.
They're also brilliant for cocktails. Crushed ice is way better than chunky ice. They're like adult slush puppies when you throw a load of gin/vodka in.
My eldest used to make these for me. Taste nicer than they sound tbh When she first suggeated them I was OK but inside I was like boik
All the best mate, I've been in those places far too much recently. Really sad places, they proper do my nut in.
First one I tried was from the myfitnesspal app and I was sceptical. They are very nice though, fair play. You end up with something that works. Mine has an Espresso shot in too.
