In fairness to us though, regarding Salah, the guy was ****e.
He was given a crack and he was **** with a capital ****.
Seems to be thriving for you guys (and for my Fantasy Football Team) though.

He wasn't that bad for you ffs. I sense you're now a little bit envious Boddy?

    He was pretty bad.
He was awesome in his first game.
Then all subsequent games he sucked.

Course I am envious, I dont want other teams to have decent players, especially not when they are former Chelsea players who used to be ****e! <grr>

    Baffles me more than anything.
At least we got good money for him....not as much as Wolfsburg got, but still.

Bertrand is the one that sticks in my craw the most though.....because he was great for us. Whoever decided to sell him should be shot.

De Bruyne wasn't the player he is now, when at Chelsea.
Who knows if he'd have gone on to become the player he became in Germany, if he'd stayed with us.

TBF, it has only happened in the past 5 years with Salah.

    And KDB.

    And Lukaku ...

Chelsea simply do not develop players. They buy them ready made off the peg.
I bet they pay people to wipe their arses too.

Yup we were after Salah....then we wanted Cuadrado...they bought him too so that they could bench him then loan him. We were after Remy too...so Chelsea go and buy him, last I heard he's selling Ice Cream in Wales or something.

It's because we don't want to end up like Arsenal and end up with a midfield of Coquelin, Ramsay and Wilshit or a defence with Djourou and Senderos

    You obviously don't recognise a world-class line-up
(like the above) when you see one.

His vision and talent is there for all to see, It’s instinctive. You can’t teach the athleticism, vision, and intelligence that De Bruyne has. He’s different class, ffs!

Why it apparently couldn’t be seen by Chelsea, I don’t know.

You could argue no one else saw it that even Wolfsburg managed to snap him up.

Hell even the well revered talented Belgian team (well not that talented although recently better) didn't start using him til he was 23 and signed permanantly for wolfsburg.

He's world class though and for me the best player in the league.

Exactly. Pure excuses from Chelsea and their fans. It must have been quite clear he was a special player...

Being a small build and strawberry blonde probably didn't help him... especially with Jose in the hot seat.

We had Jose mr 10 defenders as manager.

What was your excuse since you had Brenden best free flowing football ever Rodgers?

Talent like that has to be given the free reign and opportunity to express itself.

It does. My question was why didn't anyone else pick up such an obvious and talented player rather than the move to the giants of wolfsburg since you mentioned everyone could see his talent

I can just see him not bowing down with enough respect to his holiness. Probably had the temerity to disagree with him too.

I’d suggest because there was some sort of personal conflict between him and Mourinho.

Whichever way, you couldn’t put a price on him nowadays.

Obviously, Jose doesn't like players who don't work hard for the team (**** knows why de bruyne got dropped, he's got great work rate). Probably because KDB actually puts in lots of high risk passes and lost the ball a fair bit (you could see it last year at City, this year he's been bang on though).

Anyway my point was, you mentioned Chelsea not seeing his obvious talent when actually it seems like every club has also missed out on his "obvious" talent except for Wolfburg.
