Thanks. But someone posted on Saturday (?) that the Council was planning something that would be "childish but funny" as a retaliation for taking down the sign. Poster didn't say what it was as they didn't want to risk de-railing it. So if this wasn't it, what was it? Or has nothing actually happened?

The bit which you can still see the remains of is visible from the Argyle Street walkway. In that patch of land surrounded by railway on all 3 sides.
The concrete remains of the old South Stand is extant in the spot PLT describes. The old ground straddled what is now the railway curve, the old North Stand goal was roughly where Ehab’s Gate of Shame is now located.

Confirmation, as most of us expected, the North East Counter Terrorism Unit never mentioned installing a gate... David Harrison @DaveHarrisonBBC Cllrs just told the Counter Terrorism Unit letter to SMC never said a gate had to be built or closed at KCOM. Instead it said the stadium's an area of heightened risk similar to other public areas such as Fruit Market & Queen Victoria Square etc.
