What a piss poor result this afternoon.

No one would argue that Lenny has not galvanised the team to a certain degree but some of this first team squad would not get a game for Andorra.

If we get done by Sion, it will another years hiatus away from euro football.

    What's going on bhoys.

Why give a centre forward who scored only 3 goals last year a new three year contract. Some of the decisions mystify me.

First decision is to tell Danny his Celtic career is over , today he was an embarrasment to the hoops his 5 yards passes were going wrong his 35 yards ones going out the park , then some of his defensive was a disgrace , the fans booing home didn't help but who can blame them. Always liked Maloney but today he was awful , again his Celtic days could well be numbered, heads have got to roll after that pathetic display today , results like that hand Rangers the league

Bit of perspective is needed. We've lost one game this season ffs.

I thought we looked lively the first half and was confident we'd win by a few goals.

We've not had a full squad to pick from yet this season with Brown missing the first 2 & now Izzy out for a few months & Hooper, K Wilson & Kayal out as well as Commons & Brown playing with knocks. The players mentioned there have been our best players last season & the start of this one so to have them all injured is a massive blow.

The team under Lennon has been built round these guys so when others step in of course its going to bring about a few problems, you can't play the same way with diffferent players.

take your point , against Sion I agree missing your4 best player effects the result and performance , against st Johnstone at home there are no excuses , today some of the squad players were found out , the whole balance of the squad has to be questioned .The team today was basically made up of midfielders mostly small players , the last ten minutes murphy and samaras a bit of muscle upfront was required, today reminded me of our hampden team of 95 who were happier going sideways than going forwards

I agree, Maloney was brushed aside far too often today and we stuck to our passing game rather than lumping it to a Murphy or even Big Dan moving up for the last 10minutes.

With all the injuries we have and playing away in Europe we will be playing one upfront Thursday I would imagine. I thought Stokes made some great runs so hopefully he will be upfront if Hoopers not fit & I'd have Maloney abit deeper as the link between midfield and striker so we have abit of pace to play the counter attack & keep the same midfield in the positions they played today!

I dread Thursday already, best chance of going through is uefa throwing them out!!! Our full backs are to small , Wilson second half was truly woeful , why didn,t Lennon switch them ???the goalie and Danny don't understand each other, with that defence we could concede a few in switzerlamd, missed mulgrew , take it he got injured???

    I blame the board

No investment when rangers on the ropes

Lawell takes Lennys shopping list, picks the cheapest option and throws in a economic signing

I remember when Mowbray was in charge I was told he offered to resign 3 times before xmas because Lawell was signing players he didn't want

Remember, we sold boruc and mcgeady and never spent the money

Lenny getting abused last year was a wet dream for lawell...no need to muster support for next season

I predict an amazing LOAN deal for old man bellamy as apeasment

Not even the player we need, but hey the kids will buy more shirts

We've got enough of these kind of wide players , these injuries this season have shown how bad our club really is , we need a new striker now , this will be the last time ever a Scottish club winning the league direct entry into champions league. 16 million for winning it goodness sake take a gamble or do we hand Rangers another pot of gold!!! totally sick of this season already and we arn't into September , be honest at Hibs and Aberdeen we were poor , 5-1 last week flattered us , these last two home games have been a disgrace

Yeah they signed the likes of Ki while he signed the likes of Fortune!!

Nobody knows how much we have to spend, we've made bids for the likes of Forster, Husseklep, the Polish keeper so obviously there is money there for transfers but its about bringing in players who will play or push for a start or have potential to do so in a few years.

Keane went for £3.5m, Given a similar amount & both on 3 to 4 year contracts - if they last to see out the contract we'd have to spend that all over again if not more!

We all agree there is no point having another Samaras, Donati etc we need players that are better or equal to our first team players like Kayal, Ki, Hooper otherwise we're just replacing dross for dross. These sorts of players don't come cheap, aren't guarenteed to all be a success like those mentioned and howmany would actually want to play in the SPL? Keane was hardly singing its praises when he came!

We've lost one game in 2011/2012 season FFS.

Read all the articles on this board before the injuries about how good we were, how confident everyone was.

No look how many top players we have injured, including Brown & Commons who are playing with injuries.

We all know a striker is needed but who is there that would come to the SPL who would be better than what we have? No point getting a player who isn't as good as Stokes & Hooper as we have a few of them already.

Either a loan deal on an unwanted EPL or other top league player, buy a foreigner who will take time to settle or go get a Hooper from the Championship & spend another £3m+ & there are no guarentees targets will come as we have bid for players who have knocked us back because of the ****ty league, money etc.

Or we could go back to the Strachan days of buying older players for a season or two & then spend another £1m+ to replace them every year or two, meaning wehave awhole new squad every year which takes time for them to gel.

I'm confident we will get a striker in, he wont be a worldbeater I'm sure but it'll be a loan player or a young player who will either be part of the team for many years or be sold at a profit a few years down the line.
