No dig here but likes of Chelsea and city have a model of academy that is fantastic in terms if money and resources but its not for development of youth to bring through to first team. They sell off the youth and it must be financially beneficial as u think the lunes of west ham etc want to go down that route
I was happy when Allardyce became manager, and sad to see him go, though in the end he had to, but if Pulis turned up to manage at West Ham I'd have an excuse to stop supporting them and go Manchester blue. I think the Everton supporters main gripe was over his attempt to raid them as soon as he became manager.
And that he went behind their clubs back and colluded with Fergie a couple of years prior about getting the man Utd job. Whether that's speculation or not loads of blues believe it to be true.
It is true mate Ferguson mentions it in his book The Dildo twins and baggy flange Brady getting relegated would be karma
To be fair our youth team is excellent at producing youth that end up playing in the first team, for Burnley, Stoke, Southampton and West Brom
Sugga Daddy FC stockpiling of potential talent, hell-bent on preventing your rivals taking them to their true potential.
MUHAHAHAHA ALL DA TALENT! BEAUTIFUL TALENT! NO PLAYERS FOR YOOOO MUHAHAHAHA I think its more stockpiling them and to drive up their value and flog them for cash, rather than to prevent anything. Though I would imagine the players' "potential" probably isn't at the top of the list Chelsea give a **** about, beyond how much money it can make us as a club.
The main reason they bought Salah a few years back. Concrete interest from us (and Spurs i think), Chelsea just chucked money at him to stop him going elsewhere. Chucked him on the bench for a while then sold him off abroad. Snide tactics tbh. Although nothing surprises me with Chelsea and their dodgy dealings. They did it with some others too, standard procedure for them. Also their loan system makes a mockery of what the system is there to do. Basically Chelsea have cheated and snided their way to the top. Horrible club from top to bottom.
