Very very fake news. Last year there were 32,000 knife crimes. I thought that was pretty high and used it to wind Willy up earlier on this thread. Now he’s gone away again it seems. Oh dear how sad nevermind.
I took a look at this. "iPhone conservative" is an American Facebook account that continually posts alt-right material that is high on emotion and low on facts. Totally fake news aimed at supporting the gun lobby in this case. There's plenty of pro-Trump, anti-Clinton stuff there, too. As Stan has said, according to the ONS, last year there were 28,400 knife crimes reported. It isn't clear if the knife was actually used to wound every time or if the threat of it being used was enough to get it recorded as a knife crime. There were 188 homicides within that number. Kiwi - you just posted the meme without a comment of your own. What were you trying to achieve? What point were you making? I don't understand.
not sure i had a point other than thats a lot of knife crime was no need to comment on it as it was all there seems the number was wrong and it was only 32000 knife crimes
