I think its a poor idea. A bit like Ehab taking down the Hull City Council sign from the KCOM.

A march to the University to ask why they feel the need to have two buildings named after a family that hates kids so much would be a much better use of time. In my opinion.

However doing either requires a degree of organisation we don't have.

<laugh><laugh> transfer deadline day, so either Ehab won't be there to celebrate with the Hull City Hall of fame'rs or we are not doing any deals that day.

It's not a problem as "The club" will be conducting its business early (before the end of August).

Tickets for the first in a series of Hall of Fame events are now on sale.

The special evening, which will be held at the KCOM Stadium on the new date of Wednesday 31st January 2018, will see the Hall of Fame's inaugural inductees announced in front of an audience that will see past and present players and managers join with supporters on what is sure to be a memorable occasion.

Full details of the event can be downloaded by clicking here, while tickets are now available to buy online here (please note that VIP packages have now sold out).

With a host of familiar names having already confirmed their attendance on the night, today we can announce that a former midfielder from the 1980s who went on to manage his country will also be joining us.

Steve McClaren was a clever and skilful player who helped the Tigers to two promotions during nine years on the books at Boothferry Park. Joining as an apprentice, it took time for him to work his way through the system and into the first team, but when his senior chance arrived he was quick to show his talent. After 215 appearances he moved on to Derby County and played for a number of other clubs before his talent as a coach began to take over, firstly with the Rams and then as assistant to Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.

A move into management was inevitable and McClaren has taken charge of Middlesbrough, Derby and Nottingham Forest amongst others, and he has also had a crack at the ultimate job for any Englishman - leading the national team for a 16-month spell in 2006 and 2007.

We look forward to reliving some special times on the night, and next week we'll be announcing further confirmed guests from the 1980s as well as the 90s and right up to the present day so keep checking the Official Website to find out which Tigers legends you could be sitting alongside!

I’d be surprised if there wasn’t some kind of protest or disruption.

I see Brown and Horton are going to be there. Out of interest is anyone on here planning to go just to see what goes on and if they can pick up any gossip.

Agreed. It's an ideal opportunity. Take it as far as you like or be more dignified in your protest.
Just not from the blowhards on here.

Considering that protest group seemed pleased on Facebook that they had the pub evacuated in Sheffield, they’ll probably have something equal to that planned. Release some actual tigers into the stadium or flood the place.
