Clement is killing the crowd at the Liberty with his football, if we hang on to the dud, it will certainly cost us our PL status, though that might be a good thing if it shakes out the rats in the boardroom.............:1980_boogie_down:

That is the worst thing that could happen, it won't be easy getting back up and you might go the other way.

We would never get back up. Most of the championship would beat us today. I think when the window opens in january we will be so far behind 4th from bottom that we will be dead certs to go down.....What good player would want to join us then......

We are nailed on for the drop this season, there is nothing creative left in the squad, and by January we will be well and truly behind the chasing pack, so losing £140 Million PL revenue will definitely see the rats jump ship, it's inevitable after the last 3 seasons of garbage transfer dealings, these are the facts, and January will be far too late to rescue anything. Our slide started almost immediately the season began, we have just one win at home in seven and the atmosphere at the liberty is toxic, and I don't see that changing anytime soon, Clement is clueless, and so are the Yanks, plenty of hullabaloo from them on the stadium naming rights etc, but bugger all on the crap football we are playing, club is a joke.............<ok>

There is still a slight chance, if money if given for the January Window.

There is a few teams that can still be under Swansea, only if money is given.

It's not just about the money though , we were buying players of PL standard for less than we've paid managers off their contracts , the trouble is we seem to have no credible scouting system anymore and worse no system of how to play , we're just aimless with no direction .

Given the standard of player we have brought in of late do you really think it will ams a difference if Clement is still in charge?
Clement brought in players in July who he was claiming needed time to settle in October. Some have said recently that Narsignh and Ayew need time to settle!!!!! At that rate players bought in January 2018 will be ready in 2020.
And, I guarantee at the end of the next window we will have brought in two players to strengthen the academy, a Championship player, possibly a mid-fielder from League 1 & back up for Nordfeldt. Clement will say he's happy with the squad and Jenkins will say those are the player we had been tracking for some time.
The great sadness for me is we are losing games to teams that are bang awful. This season, imo, has seen the quality of the EPL plummet.

That's a nonsense. The best way for players like Mesa to settle is to give them game time and the opportunity. In the same way it's nonsense to say it's unfair on the u23's to play them at the moment. I think it's even more unfair not to give them a chance. We did with Ben Davies and look where he is now. What are we going to do ? Wait until we are so far behind we'll never catch up. Now that's unfair.

    Agree Phil!

    What are the others doing?

Everton sack Koeman and are rumoured to be after Allardyce until the end of the season.

West Ham sack Bilic and have appointed Moyes

Palace sack De Boer and have appointed Woy.

Our rivals are not showing inertia and staring blankly into the headlights - they can see what's wrong and have acted.

It will be interesting to see how West Brom react if they lose their next game.

Bite the bullet and get Allardyce, he has a proven track record.

I have to point out ( maybe temporary I know ) but Palace are currently still bottom, Everton won because the so called professional footballer couldn't score a penalty and Moyes hmmm <whistle>. We seem to be on this ,merry go round of getting a manager in , survive another season then repeat ,As repeated many a time I know but the cancer in the Club is jerkins & co ,not the manager Laudrup .Guildolin and perhaps Clement could have made us an established mid table team but the crooks have seen the value of the money in their arse pockets rather that the benefits of having a PL Club which supports a lot of local people who need the income and for that I hope the bastards choke and have a short life

    Hi Matt,

Everton under Allardyce - relegated? Absolutely no chance

West Ham under Moyes - relegated? Probably not. (Moyes could be a decent fit for the Hammers: Sunderland was a basket case that he inherited)

Palace under Woy - relegated? Quite possibly, but I think they will definitely be spending big in January to try and avoid the drop.

West Brom - Pulis has never been relegated, and I think he will turn it around. Either way, I think they will also spend big in January.

Swansea? I'm struggling - on present form - to find any teams worse than us, let alone 3. Does Clement have the nous to turn it around? Will the Yanks sanction a spend of £30m+ in January? Will we have enough points to encourage them to spend?

I don't disagree , I was trying to cheer myself up or clutching at straws more like <ok>, the point I was trying to make though was we have had imo managers who could have done better if the snakes in the Club had been supportive of them instead we have a failed roofing contractor thinking he knows better than experienced managers who have been in the game a lot longer than that twat.

Dai - I'd take a combination of Rangel or Leon with Curt.

It can't be any bloody worse!

That said, Allardyce would keep us up

If Allardyce is appointed my season tickets gets cut up into very small piece.
In any case we don't have players who can cheat & thug their way through half a season.
